Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Does a lambsfoot work in a non-swayback pattern?

This is a roundabout way to say, I love the idea of a lambsfoot, but I don’t love the feel of the swayback type knives I’ve tried (except the case SBJ which is so small that it works… and that blade is really more of a wharncliffe anyway.) Apologies if this question has been thoroughly covered already in this thread, feel free to direct me appropriately.

GJ, it does indeed. I have everything from a Barlow to Coffin.

Most definitely. This is not a swayback pattern.

Looks good, even though I don't know what Michealadas are.
Corona straight please.
It's a Mexican concoction made with Clamato , worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, lime juice, and pepper. Mix it over ice and drink mixed with beer or drink separately with beer. The rim is tajin, but you can use plain old salt. I was a plain beer guy too. My wife introduced me to these when I was stationed in El Paso. Delicious !!!!

Sacrilege? Perhaps, but I think I prefer a teardrop to a Swayback. 🀷

Good morning all. I'm on the porch, but wearing a warm coat!

Another nice one, Bob.

A nice day with an easy blowout for the Cowboys. Made me and the boss homemade Michealadas to celebrate. '19 in the pocket today.

It would be difficult to pick a favorite Guardians SFO, like picking a favorite child, or a favorite fried food, but the 2019 Guardians knife is definitely one of the best. 😁

I spent several hours dealing with leaves today. Although we don’t have a huge property, we do have a lot of trees around us, and it can be a daunting task. There wasn’t much time to stop and take knife photos, but I did snap one mediocre pic as I was loading bags of leaves into the back of the truck.

Thanks David! :D :)
I have been in the hospital for going on two weeks. There was a short trip home only to land back in here later one afternoon

Very sorry to hear that, 2 weeks is a long time to be away from home :( I hope they're looking after you Rick, and that your health is improving  That's a nice-looking Lamb :)
Looks like an interesting read Jer, Big Rose is looking good
Good afternoon Guardians. Still gloomy here but at least the rain stopped. I really can't complain though. We have had the best fall weather ever and we need some rain. I had forgotten to turn of my irrigation so the lawn got a double dose of moisture today. My Philly Eagles have a by-week so I have to be content watch other football teams play. I have my HHB all nice and sharp and ready for some work...Hmm, maybe it time to clean house of the fugitive cardboard in the garage.

That cardboard builds up fast doesn't it?! Sounds like all is well Bill, nice pic of your Barlow
Afternoon Guardians! Kats back at it again.

Personally, I think the Lambsfoot pairs best with a Swayback frame, but as the Guardians have said, it works well with ANY frame :) If you have a read of post #1 in this thread, you'll find a link to a thread index, which covers the early discussions here, which can be very enlightening, as well as comprehensive. I'm pretty sure you'll find some links to discussion of frame types there too

I've looked it up before, but had to do so again! :D

Sounds like that needs some Henderson's! :D That sounds like quite a drink!

Looks good to me Barrett :) Sounds like a lot of work though. My old neighbour tells me that my front garden had seven trees in it at one time, but there's just one now. As the prevailing winds blow down the street though, I get my neighbours' leaves! ;)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was a tiring one, and I was nodding off by early evening 😴 I had an early night, but forgot it was Diwali, and as there is a Sikh temple nearby, I got woken up by celebratory fireworks! πŸ˜– At least, I have gotten used to that now, the first time it happened, I thought I was back in Beirut! I woke up feeling groggy, and still haven't fully come round, so I'll get on with some menial chores, before I start work properly, hopefully I'll not stick my hand in the toaster or something  It's raining heavily outside, but looks like it's going to clear up :) I was eating in Charlie's, on Saturday, when I had another dental crown come out, so I need to ring the dentists  Maybe I need to go and see my mate Bod, in Poland, and get my teeth fixed over there πŸ€” I hope your week gets off to a good start Guardians :) I really feel like I need some Waboom! ;) :)

Thanks kindly Barrett. You actually captured your lamb very well.πŸ‘Œ
I hope you had time to put your feet up after your outdoor exercising.
