Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Looks good to me Barrett :) Sounds like a lot of work though. My old neighbour tells me that my front garden had seven trees in it at one time, but there's just one now. As the prevailing winds blow down the street though, I get my neighbours' leaves! ;)

Thanks, Jack. I like having the trees, but all the leaves are a hassle in the yard and gutters this time of year. There are a couple that will have to be cut down (or at least significantly trimmed back) at some point. I’m not looking forward to footing that bill.

Thanks kindly Barrett. You actually captured your lamb very well.👌
I hope you had time to put your feet up after your outdoor exercising.

Thanks, Bob. I did. 😁

I wondered what was going on when this BBC article turned up in my news feed! 😳

It turned out the BBC have a pidjin service. Not sure why they've targeted it at me! 🤨😁

Interesting. Did you think you were having a stroke before you realized what had happened? 🤣

I love the light colored wood on that one, Bob.

Pork tenderloin from the greasy spoon in town. Got the Giraffe lamb in the pocket.

Looks tasty, Paul. Needs like 3x more mashed potatoes though. 😁

Back to my Afzelia Burl Albers today. Took the girls to a park after Eleanor got out of school, enjoy this little stretch of warmer weather while it lasts.

I hope a few Guardians managed to grab one of the new Ironwood Albers tonight. (I tried, but no luck.)

I had one in cart and was almost thru papal transaction in less than 45 seconds... when... POOF!!! ... gone... vanished... nada... defeat... :( It's not fair. It would be different if I had a lambsfoot... but no... 😁😁 😂 🥹 Hopefully some folks that deserve one were successful. 👍

Sorry you dipped out, is frustrating when you have one in the cart then - POOF GONE .

This whole lamb thing, it's kind of like a cult, right? I mean like one of those good cults without the weird blood pacts and stuff, yeah?

Edit: Just realized Jack Black Jack Black himself refers to it as a cult in the first line of the first post of this thread. I knew I wasn't crazy! How come I haven't received my secret decoder ring?
What no weird blood pacts? I'm out.. gonna have to cancel the order of live chickens 😖😂😂😂😂

That looks good Paul, as does your Lambsfoot 😋 :)
Jb lamb.
Jack Black Jack Black mate you will be happy to know the TEW steel works pretty good. First thing this morning had to put some tips on bamboo stakes. I had to move 1 plant awhile back ad it was dying🤨 Turns out my good mate Buddy is walking up & cocking his leg on them🤬🤬 now he is just blatant & does in front of me 😫 hopefully this will keep him out, although he might see it as a challenge, hmm maybe some trip wires.

I hope the stakes work Mitch!
I might could handle Yorkshire time but no way I could handle Jack Black time. My body requires sleep... ;) Sorry to hear about your crown. :(
Thanks Dwight, the way things are going, I'm going to end up living on soup! :D:thumbsup:
That Giraffe looks just like mammoth ivory.
Doesn't it just?
Stunning photo my friend  :)

Getting a tree cut down isn't cheap is it Barrett? :( One of my neighbours, a few years ago, decided he'd just cut down a large sycamore himself, (tight-fisted old sod), and it went straight through my garden fence. Could have been worse 🤨 Many years back, I was visiting a friend of mine, and we were having a few pints in the village pub. Someone was complaining about how much it was costing him to have a tree cut down, and a young man said he'd do it for £20 (might have been a fiver back then). He cut the tree down, and it went straight through the bloke's house, and blocked the road. The lad jumped on his motorbike, and disappeared, and the home-owner, not only needed a new home, but was prosecuted by the Council for blocking the road
Interesting. Did you think you were having a stroke before you realized what had happened? 🤣
It was a very strange experience! o_O I read the headline several times, thought it must be some sort of bizarre typo, then noticed that the rest of the page was equally unintelligible  I thought it was maybe a spoof, but couldn't really see the joke. It was only when I was copying the link to send to a friend, that I realised it was pidjen 🤣 I have a neighbour from the Ivory Coast, and went to his 40th birthday a few years back. I was the only person there not from Ivory Coast, so I had to speak French. I was asking someone if everyone in Ivory Coast spoke French, or if there was another local language. He told me that people who went to school spoke French, otherwise they spoke pidjen, which I found fascinating. They had a large TV screen showing the Ivory Coast equivalent of MTV, and later, someone asked how I found the music. It wasn't really to my taste I have to say, and neither were the videos, but I found it interesting. They asked if I could understand the words, which I couldn't for the most part, and I enquired what language they were rapping in. Rather than French, or French pidjen, it was English pidjen, but the whole intonation and rhythm of the language was different. It was like someone who could barely read, had picked up a book in English, but not known how to pronounce anything. Once I understood this, I could actually make out the words to the 'songs', not that that made it any better to listen to! 🤣

The cult reference actually comes from The Cult of the Peanut, a thread which hasn't popped up for a while now
This one was delivered today!
A fine example, can't find anything I don't like about it. The ironwood is beautiful.
Great work Lee.🫡

Congratulations on that fine-looking Lamb  :)
You have to finish your first bottle of Henderson’s Relish. The decoder ring is at the bottom.

Spoiler alert, when you use it to decode your first secret message, it’s just an ad for more Henderson’s.
