Little to nothing going on here today. I’ll probably watch some football and piddle around here a bit. 😎👍View attachment 2419006
Much the same here Todd, can't say I've accomplished a great deal  I like your pic buddy :)

That will work. Remembering Shane Macgowan?
I only saw The Pogues once Mitch, and really I should have gone to see them a couple of decades before I did. Shane had his new teeth in, but wasn't in great health, and missed every other song, which was actually a relief. I was on the guest list, but that really just meant free entry, and the chance to buy another couple of expensive pints at the end. I knew people who were better acquainted with him, in London, in the early 80's. Certainly a character, and sure to be remembered

Great pic Joe  :)

My tintinnabulations went down better at church than did my ecstatic dancing, to be honest.
🤣 🤣
Afternoon all, running late today 2.40pm,

Hope you catch up Mitch :) Cool pics there

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone had a great weekend. Going to be a busy week for me, as I have a ton of stuff to get done before I go away. Hope you all have a good one :) Starting my week with some much-needed Waboom! :D

Evening all.
Yeah got my jobs done, we went for a coffee as I had 1 of those days 😉

Yeah, I've seen people frame jigsaws! 🤣 With me, it was a big old biscuit (cookie) tin, which seemed almost as indestructible as the Lego! :D Lego seems as popular as ever. There's actually a Lego shop in Leeds, but I've never been in

My grandma didn’t frame any jigsaw puzzles, but she would occasionally glue one together when she was done and hang it in her garage. She always had a puzzle going on her kitchen table, and I never thought to ask what criteria determined which ones were worthy of a spot on the garage wall. 🙂

We were just in the Lego store at the Mall of America over the weekend.

I called in at the post office today, to post a few cards, and buy some stamps. Mailed 8 small cards overseas, and purchased 16 stamps for in the UK - £38!! o_O

Wow, that does sound high. Postage had certainly gone up here as well, but I don’t think it’s quite that bad. Regular domestic Forever stamps are $0.66 now (going up to $0.68 in January), and Global Forever stamps are $1.50.

My ankle still isn't 100%, but I managed to get around OK today, and I've arranged to go out with my mate Matt and his family tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have time to call in, but I'll be carrying my AC :) Hope everyone has a great weekend

Hope that ankle keeps getting better, Jack. That’s a particularly festive-looking mince pie.

Classic combination, beer and pretzels. 🍺🥨

Now I think they are just making up words over there at the Leeds Library... :)

I agree. 😁

Good looking 2017 (I think?) Guardians Lambsfoot.

Good morning Guardians, Christmas seems to be bearing down like a 10-ton truck, and I go away a week before that, so no shortage of things to do  Heavy rain is forecast all day here, so I think we'll probably end up in one of the local museums, unless Matt has any ideas. I'm sure we'll get some lunch somewhere anyway :) I hope everyone has a great weekend, and that it's better weather where you are :)

It really does seem to be coming in fast! Hope you can get everything done without too much trouble, and then put your feet up and enjoy your tropical holiday. 🌴🎄🍹

They look magnificent. There was an English food writer and well renowned cook many years ago, in one of her books she proclaimed an egg sandwich to be the best meal on earth. Fresh bread, buttered, a lightly fried egg in butter and some salt and pepper. Does not get any easier, and tastes fantastic. Protein, carbs and fat, the perfect meal.

I agree, but I think it’s even better with bacon. 😉

Mr.Chip Butty on some scales that will be on my next lamb....decisions, decisions.🤔View attachment 2418804

I like the one on the right, with the bit of black going through it, although I don’t know how much of that would be captured when taking it down to knife scale size.

I hope you Guardians all had a good weekend! We took the girls to see Santa on Friday. This was our fourth year seeing Santa Sam (started in 2020 with a Zoom call Santa visit). He always does a fantastic job, and the girls love him.

On Saturday, Julie and I did a bit of Christmas shopping and had dinner out while the girls were at a “parents night out” thing at Julie’s work. I did a terrible job taking any knife pics this weekend, but I did get my Katalox Albers Lamb into this photo of a cookbook that I think could earn the Guardians of the Condiments seal of approval. 😁🌶️

Sunday was spent cleaning and trying to get the house ready for family that will be visiting over Christmas. Still plenty more of that to do over the next week or so!

Thanks for imput...fortunately I have time to decide.
Wow, the young ladies have really grown in the year I have seen them here. It seems they are really captivated by Santa; who looks real, unlike someone stuffed into a red suit and fake beard.

I would give that book my approval Barrett for sure.
