Very sorry to hear that mate, I hope you get to spend some quality time togetherThanks Jack..
Yeah there is no more treatment he can have, so he is pottering around his garden. If you ask him he is finemum tells you different on the quiet, he still likes a beer with me. So while he still can we are all making an effort spend some time.
That's colourful Mitch!
Eric, I take it?New record. Latest drop gone i less than 30 seconds. The Lamb is popular.![]()
Did you ask her for a dentist referral?![]()
It was good funSounds like a good day!![]()
Sorry to hear you've all been under the weather mateSorry for not checking in over the last few days, Guardians. 3 of the 4 of us (myself and both kids) have been under the weather. Eleanor finally seems to be on the mend today, Scout and I are still feeling pretty rough. We were supposed to have a four day weekend (no school for parent-teacher conferences Friday, no school Monday for Presidents’ Day). Eleanor ended up missing Thursday, as well, but so far we’ve spent our now-five day weekend just lying around the house.
Me neither!I haven't even seen what they look like this time
Lucky lad, that's a Big Boy's knifeHad a great day celebrating my middle son’s Birthday. Took him to a place called Knuckleheads in the Wisconsin Dells. Basically a Dave and Buster on steroids. In case you are wondering…arcades are still a ripoff. $150 in tokens turned into 1650 tickets which got him a cheap $5 plastic solar system thingamabob. I also gifted him my IXL rosewood lamb. He loves it and he even carried it today. Had the Giraffe lamb in the pocket. Hope everyone had a great day.

I didn’t even know it was supposed to snow here the other day, and we ended up getting 6 or 7 inches!

Sorry to hear you've all been under the weather mateI hope you and Scout start to feel better soon, and that Eleanor continues to feel better
Me neither!
Lucky lad, that's a Big Boy's knifeThe solar system looks identical to one I bought for Wolfie's youngest lad's birthday, years ago. It had London Science Museum branding, which knocked it up to £20!
Five years later, it is still one of his favourite things

Looking good Jer
Thanks SteveGreat picture Jack !
Good morning, meeting up with my Mom today and driving into the city to take my Niece, who is in art school at SAIC out for her birthday. Her preference was pub food or sushi. All I know is I’m driving, my wife picked the place and I regrettably gave up alcohol for Lent.
Fantastic pic buddy
Young kids these days and their strange dietary preferences. Just eat a damn hamburger already, jeesh! No polar bear is gonna die because you ate a burger.Looking good Jer![]()

A very good ideaWe have a break in the storms here. I’ll be able to drive safely over crazy Hwy 17 to visit a bunch of fellows I went to grade school and high school with. I enjoy visiting and catching up. We talk about what medication we’re on, man boobs and who’s getting a colonoscopy while having some pizza and beer. We have a rule to not talk about politics pretty much. Music is a safe subject and reminiscing about concerts we attended back in the day is a good chat. Usually those anecdotes include somebody vomiting, passing out or wetting themselves…sometime all three of those. And usually it’s a story we have all heard over and over again. I take a slip joint which gets asked about. I am pretty good about not talking too much about knives. I might bring this lambsfoot today. But I’m leaning toward my folder with oosik covers. Walrus penis bone covers might lead to some amusing conversations. Have a great Sunday.

I hope not Bob. I heard old men with man boobs are popular in jail. This is just the kinda stuff we joke about. We’re still very immature. Especially me. We’ll talk about the Zodiac Killer which was a big deal for some of us. One of the guys was an amateur investigator and was actually on some TV show decades ago with his theory that the Zodiac and the Unibomber were the same person. Actually we’re the group of guys that mostly stayed out of jail somehow. But you never know, we still have a few years left to get in trouble. One of my still best friends was almost given a “ride” by Edmund Kemper while she was hitchhiking. I gotta tell that story today. Lot’s of serial killers around here. Hanging with these guys is how I would imagine hanging out with the guys at the Leeds Market is but with less spam.Kurt, sounds like a grand time.
Will bail money be involved?![]()
