Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

There's a situation like this, or some other cock-up, every couple of years, so please don't panic, and start deleting posts from this thread. It leaves one heck of a mess behind. If you're not sure what's going on with the image hosting situation, please have a look in the Technical sub-forum, and for now at least, sign up to a free image hosting site, such as the one recommended by Steve - POSTIMAGE - which is easy to use (you don't even have to register if you don't want to)

The good news is that we're halfway through another week ;) My internet was down last night, and it's not very healthy today, so if I'm not around at some point, please don't fear the worst! I have a few chores to take care of at home, and then I am finally hoping to get to the opticians. Have a good day Guardians

Inspired by paulhilborn :) ;)
I agree. Step away from the delete button!!!! Just take a deep breath and it will be ok 😂.

So the lady from down the street is going to knock on your door to help with a computer problem 😂.

Have a great day with that awesome Charlie lamb in the pocket, Jack.

Have a nice day :)
That man knows how to make a fine lamb. That’s a stunner.

Great to see your Blood Lamb Pete :)
Thank you sir. She is a favorite
Pete, especially your 2nd photo, really show the beauty of the purpleheart. I used to have an owl in my front yard, when I lived in St. Louis.

Of course :)

I hope everyone is having a nice day. It's mid afternoon here, and I've just got home again :) I got my tasks done in good time this morning, and headed down to Charlie's cafe, where I was delighted to see Sara was back from her trip to see her mom in Santa Domingo. She brought me some coffee back, and even met my Dominican girlfriend, Che! 🤣 It sounded like a bit of a nightmare getting there, but it is certainly a very beautiful place  On the way to the cafe, I had rung Tool Man, who was ill in bed after a dodgy pork-pie. He wouldn't take any advice, but reckoned he was too ill to get to the market tomorrow. I headed to the bank in town, but we've had so much rain, that branch had flooded, so I had to go to another branch. I had a nice chat with the girl on the bread stall, and then went for lunch at the Tunisian place I like. They were busy when I arrived, and I chatted briefly to a chap who was just waiting to pay. He was a Palestinian, but had grown up in Lebanon. When I went to pay myself later, it turned out he had bought me lunch, which touched me, but it is very typical of the hospitality I have always experienced in the Middle East :) After hoofing it up to the other branch of my bank, I went to the optician's, which was the main reason for my trip to town. I had my eye-test before Christmas, but wanted to see their sole qualified dispensing optician when I purchased my new specs. I was told there was no need to book an appointment, but she was there every Wednesday. Wednesday is an awkward day for me, and today is the first chance I've had to get in. Turned out she was busy, but they have another dispensing optician, who is in on Fridays  I went to the bookshop opposite, bought myself a book, and had a hot chocolate in their cafe, before returning home. Just as I was walking in the door, Tool Man rang to say that he is hoping to get to the market afterall, so I'll call him before I set off in the morning. Going to make Spag Bol for tea I think ;)

Knowing Tool man it was probably more than a dodgy pork pie 😁

I hope Tool man rallies and you get favorable weather for market day 👍

Cheers Jack !

Almost certainly! I'll spare you all the unnecessary detail he foisted on me! Thanks mate, it's been raining here again today :( I told Tool Man to drink plenty of water, but he says he doesn't like water! 😖
Ironwood and coffee…

Thanks Jack. Northern California looks better with a Charlie lamb in it.

A real piece of history David :)
Thanks Jack! Never heard of Mosley before. Look it up in Tweedales book and found out they were one of the bigger cutleries in Sheffield.

Well, maybe in parts of NorCal. It's just overcast here right now. Glad to see you're getting around a bit more, Jack.

Okay, I'm trying to understand the image thing. It seems like Spark is saying there has always been an image limit but that it just wasn't functioning and NOW it IS functioning. So is this the new reality? Are they saying from now on the only way to post images is to delete the necessary number of posted images down to below the limit? I've been waiting thinking there was a problem that would be momentarily resolved but that doesn't seem to be the case.

ANYONE? ANYONE?

That's my understanding, Dwight. But some are suggesting we wait to do anything....
