Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Can't wait to hear that story 😁
I have to write an insurance claim for a new pair of trousers!
That looks like a tasty lunch !
Thanks buddy, the food was OK in Crete, and I'm sure there is better to be had, but I did enjoy my Tunisian Plate šŸ˜‹ I might have to look at the vacation possibilities! :D
Thanks Jack!
It's great to have you back at the helm!
Thanks a lot Ken, you've all been very kind :)
Thanks Jack.
Now do pace yourself as you get back into your routine.

Delicious looking lunch.šŸ‘Œ
That's good advice Bob, I'm really going to try :) Thank you my friend
Good morning Guardians. Just returned from my stroll around the lake and I feel pretty good. Been taking it easy for the last month or so and recovering from my procedure nicely. Not yet at 100% but getting there. Miss my bi-weekly golf. Looking forward to getting back out. I'm close. Hope everyone out in Lambsfoot land are doing well.

Great news Bob, you have taken a very sensible approach :)
Glad to have Jack back. While he was galavanting around Greece probably talking about knives, spam and Tool Man I added another lambsfoot to my flock. A K’roo flew in. Willem calls this one a Fancy Jack. 3.75ā€ so a bit smaller than his Lambsfoot. It sports a spiffed up longer bolster and has a cap. The lambsfoot blade and spring are damasteel. The covers are bone but I’m not sure which. I’ll ask him. Probably giraffe. The bone has splotches of blue where the dye took.
Anyway I’m endeavoring to wash my truck today and do some shopping. My back got a cramp on my walk yesterday morning and bothered me all day. It’s not easy being an old dude but I got some nice lambs. It’s all good.

LOL! Thanks Kurt :D Wow, my eyes nearly popped out of my head! :D That's a very fancy Lamb  Sorry to hear about your back, I hope it eases up soon. Mine is hurting a bit today, but I'm not surprised, and I'm just relieved that, with all the cramped travelling and luggage hauling, it isn't worse
What a great picture... and once again, welcome back. 🤠
Many thanks my friend :) I was just reading my book, and figured I should take a pic with my phone
Thanks Bob. I admire your Cosimo’s and like the bolsters on them. Jack has a good one too.
The bolster is ā€œpinchedā€ on top, has a big ā€œrat tailā€ on the bottom and I’m not sure what the other lines would be called.
Thank you Kurt :) I also like the bolster on your fancy Lamb :) Here's an old Thomas Turner Lamb with a pinched bolster. There's barely anything left of the blade, so the bolster is all I bought it for

Not familiar with raki, but I'm gonna look for it.
It is very traditional to Crete Vince, rough, but I've had worse :D The Turks have a drink of the same name, but it is an anis (I think the name comes from the Arabic 'Arak')
That's a good reading Jack, mine runs a little higher than that.
Thank you Steve, I hope you can get yours down soon :) It's an entirely new thing to me, as my blood pressure has always been on the low side šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

Good morning Guardians

I just got a couple of Lambs back from glennbad glennbad

This one had some really plain and boring Buffalo horn on it. I was on the fence as what to go with for a recover when Glenn suggested Rams horn. I think it turned out fantastic. I had him rat tail the bolsters as well. I couldn't be happier with it šŸ‘šŸ‘

Fantastic Steve  That is a HUGE improvement my friend, the covers look fantastic :) Well done glennbad glennbad :)

I wouldn't have minded an easy day today, but I had plenty to do, putting away all my travelling stuff, catching up with folks, doing some shopping, etc. I managed to get lunch in the market too ;) Hope everyone is having a great day

Yummy šŸ˜‹ Glad your getting settled in Jack!

Turned out good!

Afternoon Guardians! More storms last night. Lots of big limbs down all over the yard. Limbs took the power line down. Power company got the power back on quickly. No other damage here at moms. I been at moms for six months while I recoupurating. Bubinga Lamb šŸ‘

Nice lamb David. Hope your recuperation is advancing quickly.

Surprise give away. My daughter is due anytime...most likely tomorrow or the next day.
The person guessing the closest day& hour to birthing will win. Rounding hour down. You can be over/ under.

No dilation or water yet...keep that in mind. Due date is the 9th( but she is feeling it getting closer)

Regular lambsters to porch only. Please understand if I exclude pop ins. I will create on line list.

This give away should blow your socks off.šŸ˜‚
Let's close this 9 am tomorrow

Will acknowledge with thumbs up

Bob

Once again thanks for your patience.

How exciting, is this her first ?

Big congrats, Bob, praying for an all around safe delivery. I'll say 5/9 @ 04:30.

Would you prefer a grandson or granddaughter?

Thanks for the diagram on bolsters. I saved it. A candle end bolster is a name I keep forgetting. I would describe that bolster now as pinched, square, two wide threads and a wide rat tail.
Thank you Kurt :) I also like the bolster on your fancy Lamb :) Here's an old Thomas Turner Lamb with a pinched bolster. There's barely anything left of the blade, so the bolster is all I bought it for

That is great Bob. I’m going to take a guess.
Thursday May 9th at 9:00 pm
I think the stork is busy and you’re going to be waiting like a knife is being delivered by the postman. If only you could check tracking.
