That meant I got a lift home, so it worked out pretty well 
No rest for the wicked here in Yorkshire though, unfortunately, and I have some work I need to do already, as well as all the other stuff I need to do 
I'm hoping I can make a start on editing my holiday snaps later today. And do some housework! 
I've been trying to retire for a few years now, but I think I may need to try harder! I have my Hartshead Barlow in my pocket, and for once, it isn't raining!

I bought this compass for under five dollars. The seller can't have known either that it's a Hitler Youth compass. It makes me sad in a couple of ways.

Thanks Steve, I got the work done quicker than I had expected, and was on my way to a meeting when it was cancelled. By a happy coincidence, shortly after, I bumped into Wolfie, on a break from his job, and bought him coffee and a falafel sandwich for lunch. Plenty to do at home though, which is where I'm headed next
