Thanks Jack....hope you have a better night.
Thanks buddy

Insomnia seems top come and go with me, so I don't worry too much. I ended up falling asleep posting here about 3.00am!
Thank buddy, yes made it home without issue !
Sounds great !
That's good Steve

I really enjoyed, best meal I've had in ages, everything was cooked perfectly
Roper had another day at work with me today, and he handled every task with excellence.
He's a blue-collar guy Jeff
Here's what it looked like from Point Deluce Arkansas Barrett.

I figured the Vulcan was an appropriate carry
I'm glad you got to see it Dwight
That's a cool truck!

Pic a friend of my brother took of the northern lights out west of Burden, KS
Not a big Python fan, but...
Afternoon all.
Yesterday Kristy got me to go with her to Aldi.
I was lucky enough to pick up another little hobby vice. I already have the same in clamp on edge. As I have a bodgy hand and no wrist I like them to hold sharpening rods at easy use angle. I can see this 1 working with some stones

Bargin for $15. That will teach her to make me go work shopping
Nice find Mitch
I bought 2 for sharpening years ago just as an experiment because they were so cheap. The reason i got 2 was to set it up as a crock stick type sharpener. Once you set your angles the same on each sharpener you just swiped your knife down whatever your sharpening implement was and viola a sharp knife. Very bulky but if you had a tool shed would be a great set up. I used 2 flat diamond sharpeners. And you can set it to any angle with a digital cube.
It's a good idea

I have a bunch of small vices, due to Tool Man of course
Good morning Guardians, I don't know what on earth is wrong with my internet connection today, but it's terrible. I really need to get another provider, but not sure that will solve the issue, as some of my neighbours have the same problem

After some glorious weather yesterday, heavy rain is in for the day, and I'm hoping the connectivity improves, so I can get on with some stuff

Plenty of other things to do I guess

I hope everyone is OK anyway, and that your week got off to a good start. I didn't see too much of York yesterday, a city I'm very familiar with, but I sure enjoyed the food!

It was Eve's grandma's birthday, so we went to buy her gifts, and while doing so, I got talking to a lady from Texas, just near Dallas, and told her about all my Texan friends. By chance, we were soon joined by a lady from Kentucky. She couldn't have heard much of my accent, as she thought I was Texan at first!

It turned out she lived just across the road from Senator Cassius M Clay's old house, and was amazed I knew anything about him. We had quite a long chat about Clay, knives, and Kentucky history, while Eve, and the lady's poor husband, looked on patiently

I had a look round a couple of antique shops, but there was nothing to be found unfortunately

Being a tourist town, York is kind of pricey for antiques, and there are so many fakes and mislabelled items on display

Hope everyone has a good day today

I'll be carrying my Hartshead Barlow
