Yes indeedA very good reason I try to support the newer cutlers who are keeping the tradition alive.![]()
Very pretty
Glad you're feeling OK buddy, and thanks for the pics
Sounds great PaulA nice day. Yard work, soccer game, and took the kids to the park. HHB in the pocket today.

Welcome to the Guardians!I just found these guys in a box that remained packed from a move several years ago. Now that they’re back, figured I’d drop them here…

It's great to see you here Dennis, how're you doing pal?Awsome Eye Steve!👁
Big John!
Such a dark horse that one! Couldn't think of a better one!
Always instant classic shots Dwight! Great shot!
A fella named Mitch would of course post such a great looking Lamb!!
But a great shot!
Produce runs a little late up here as well, but it will last until we get to freezing again. But it's worth the price, better than WallyWorld.
Can never go wrong with the HHB's, great knives!
Man, I hope I get to find a box or two like that!!
That honey horn is grand!!
Hey all!
Trying to get some posts in again!
Been a gorgeous spring so far, but the heat is coming in!
Have a great week!
Some wild horses getting in some shade time.
Hopeto get some fly fishing in beforeterroriststourists season!
Sweet Lamb Dwight
Perfect!
Lucy's looking deceiveingly beautiful Jack. Perhaps lunch will be garlic shrimp today!!Very pretty![]()

Good morning Guardians, how's everyone doing? While I was up at the hardware store yesterday, I picked up a reasonable bottle of wine from the shop next door, so that's how my evening went![]()
It's still only 7am here, but so far, my internet connection seems to be OK. Have to see how that goes
Have a good day everyone, but watch yourselves fellers, and grab some garlic, because Lucy is out of the box!

Nice LF knife photo....Looking forward to more photos of your trip.I still haven't edited all my holiday snaps, but thought I'd post a few today. I took a whole bunch from the plane, but here's just a couple of them. I think the first shows the Austrian Alps.

On my first day there, the weather was pretty dull, and I decided to check out what the brochure called a 'beach'
I decided to walk to the local 'town' of Sissi.
The harbour is quite pretty. The rest had me expecting tumbleweed to blow across the street!Still, it's only 11am or so

Beautiful example of Eric's skills Bill.Good morning Guardians. Storms are continuing to batter our area here in southern coastal NC. Calling for a break later this morning. I know that we needed the rain but enough is enough. Looking forward to getting out for a walk and some sunshine later this morning. Keeping my Blue Rope Albers close to me today. Recycled photo.

Thanks pal !Cool knife![]()

Yes indeedI worded that badly though, I didn't mean to imply that Eric was running out of time!
His style, his work, the way his career has developed from factory-trained apprentice to 'Little Mester' reminds me very much of older cutlers such as Stan Shaw. Few of the younger cutlers, if any, will have ever worked for big cutlery firms, alongside older guys, who had trained as apprentices many years before. Eric must be one of the last workers US cutlers to have gone through the system
