Well, after a whirlwind last few weeks, things finally settled down some and I went back to the office today. Great news from last night, this knife from Cosimo De Benedetto that was the prize for the grand daughter giveaway Rufus1949 hosted here a short while back was in my mailbox when I got back to town. Thank you Steve, I love the way the secondary blade is able to sit so low in the frame, and think that's a much more stylish look than a simple EO notch. It must be nice and comfortable to use. I'm guessing the Lamb blade sits a little higher. Really cool knife, and a rare design, which almost harks back to the earlier pistol grip frames, and the frames used for the very early 2-blade Quill knife frames

It's very comfortable in hand even in spey mode.

Thanks for the info, Jack. It would be interesting to see a modern interpretation with hidden pins like that. It’s a very clean look, even if the intent for that one was mainly for economic reasons.

Also, some more lamb content of what’s in my pocket today. I don’t often share pics with the pile side of this re-covered GEC 93, but honestly this side has some really nice character to my eye.

Had a great day with my Dad today. Started with a round of golf and ended with this awesome burger. Found a run down looking burger joint on the way home and boy was it good. Always good to find a good restaurant.
