Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good morning Guardians, I hope you're all having a good week :) I still can't believe it's only Tuesday! :D I'm feeling tired today, but glad that I don't have to go over to Bradford, and I'm going to play hooky a bit today ;) I need to get some shopping from town, so I'll sandwich that between coffee at Charlie's, and lunch somewhere! ;) The weather is pretty Autumnal right now, but I'm hoping it'll brighten up a little. Carrying one of my SFOs today, from a short run with African Rosewood covers, think there were only 10 of these :) Have a great day Guardians

Something about the simple elegance of your lamb Jack.😎
Must be spring, Tuesday night dinner

Hey chef, that's looking good.
Spring and Fall two great seasons Mitch.

Thank you Bob, when Sheffield Lambs of good quality were easier to obtain, I think some of us underestimated the simple beauty of Rosewood, which is a shame really. Wright's use it on their cheapest knives, the quality of which is usually not very good, but Rosewood is certainly worthy of a well-made knife 👍

Thanks Leon, John Maleham found a small amount of African Rosewood at the country, and I asked him to make me up a few Lambs, with polished blades, and superior fit and finish. One of them was a prize in the 2000 page Guardians giveaway 😁👍

Looks tasty Mitch, nice pics 😋👍
Thanks Jack was tasty.

True sometimes the simplicity gets lost, also the variety of handle options has grown exponentially
In recent years.

Afternoon all

Cool pics Mitch !

I had the GL-24 with me today and was hoping to take a nice photo but alas it was flat stick all day between work and dealing with kids with Hannah being away for a funeral. After work kitchen photo it is.

Nice indoor shot !

Life is always busy, when your kids are young Jack :) Sorry to hear about the funeral mate :( Looking forward to your photo

Definitely, used to be the options were limited to Bex, Rosewood, Stag, and a couple more on the fancier options 👍
Rosewood beauty !
Thank you Steve 😊👍

How much dieting comes into effect after Octoberfest? It looks worth it.

Bob, I’ve been known to freely use a lot of four-letter words, but “diet” isn’t one of them. 😉🤣

That pizza looks incredible! 😋 Cheers Barrett! 🍻:)

It was good! I had the leftovers for lunch yesterday.

Beautiful photo!

They came early this year! I'm on my third case of Sam Adams! :D

Nice! That’s what I was drinking the other day.

My turn....bonus Pic, just unpacked!😁View attachment 2656845

Very nice, Bob! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks, I can finally house most of my knives in one place.👍🏻

…for now. 😉🤣

You never see that anymore, a bloke with a paper sticking out of his pocket. Every second person carried a newspaper once.

I have my wife collect newspapers at her work for me occasionally. Need ‘em for the charcoal chimney starter. 😁 They certainly aren’t as ubiquitous as they used to be.

Funny how cheaper watches can sometimes surprise over more expensive ones.

I’ve never really been a watch guy, other than the fact that I like having one on. My senior year of high school I bought a Luminox Navy Seal watch, and wore it for nearly 20 years. Unfortunately I cracked the crystal, and couldn’t find anyone to repair it (discontinued model), so I replaced it with a cheap Timex. That was originally meant to be a temporary solution while I shopped around for something else, but I’m not going to lie, I haven’t noticed much of a difference, so I might stick with the Timex for a while. 😁

When looking at options, my wife and I were going between hiring movers or doing it ourselves with some family help with the heavy furniture items. We opted to try it ourselves, renting a moving box truck from uhaul.

Considering how sore we are today, movers may have been a better option, but no going back now 😂

Having moved a fair number of times in my adult life (including a few cross-country moves), there’s definitely a point at which you realize it is absolutely worth paying someone to move all the heavy stuff. 😁

Fantastic jigging! 😎

Been carrying this one for a few days now. I have no idea why someone wrote on the Queens face. 🤔

A £5 note has been my go to bookmark for a few years, although the one I use is one of the newer, plasticky ones with a little clear window in it.

Enjoying these Fall like days.

Interesting contrast to your other Coffin Lamb, Bob. 😁

I’ve been slacking on taking any knife pics the last few days, but here’s a quick one I snapped while waiting in the school drop off line this morning.
