Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Quite a contrast to Don Whillans! 🤣 👍

No doubt....thanks for the article Jack.
I always root for the person swimming against the current.👍🏻

Sounds like a interesting character. The good old days. When men were men. 👍🤠
Definitely a character! :D I used to be pals with Jim Perrin, who wrote his biography. Been in my 'ready to read' pile for a while  In fact, I remember including a short piece about Don Whillans in my old climbing column, and citing another newspaper article, headlined: Five Foot Climber Floors Six Coppers!

Just ordered the book about him by Jim Perrine on the big river.
Let me know what you think Bob, Jim Perrin is certainly one of the most eloquent climbing writers Britain has ever had, and his prose often reads like poetry. He was a very good climber in his own right, and also fond of a pint and a chip butty

I surely will Jack.

I'm right there with you! 😂 Hope I didn't miss anything important either. Even though I haven't posted much recently, I still try to read through as much as I can.

Jack, I hope you are feeling better!!

Hope you aren't as sore today! Feels good to get these projects done though, doesn't it! Mighty fine looking HHB!

I'm in a similar situation..... Did some heavy clean up and pruning in my front yard over the weekend, primarily with just a pair of small hand clippers. This pom pom shrub was the last and I barely made it to the end. Time to invest in an electric clipper!

Glad I had this lambsfoot with me!

Hope you all had a great weekend!
Good job!, get yourself a cordless hedge ttrimmer. Paired with a lamb😉
I prefer to do by hand but to much, makes life easier, worst part the clean up😃
A job well done. Now, oil those joints!!
The lamb, wrists & elbows and a hip or 2??😆😆
Good morning Guardians. Starting off the week with my GL-24 👍

Cool pic!

You sure Mark Knopfler didn't base Basil on you & not Basil Bunting?😁 it's a good song
First time I've heard that one Bob :D An interesting character :) Knopfler is a Leeds lad. I remember his band playing, for free, at a beer festival at Sheffield University, early in 1979. We'd never heard of them, but they sounded alright

It's a good song been in my play list since it came out
That would have been good I like Dire straits, his solo work is a different tangent from his early work but just as cool.

Lambsfoot of the Week for me is Union Jack, a rosewood A. Wright & Son lambsfoot my wife and daughter bought for me in Barnitt's hardware store in York in the spring of 2017 IIRC. Here are a couple of the first photos I took once my wife returned to the U.S. and gave me the knife.

Alright folks. I think I can breathe a little and get back on here 😂. Starting to show some slow down with life and work.

I want to say thank you to all that reached out and helped me through this time. You know who you are. The people her are amazing especially on the Guardians page. I am blessed to have such great people in my corner.

Cosimo has shipped out a batch of the ‘14 CBD lambs so 7 of you are going to be happy soon. Cant wait for those to land in your paws.

Got the HHB for work tonight.
