Let me know what you think Bob, Jim Perrin is certainly one of the most eloquent climbing writers Britain has ever had, and his prose often reads like poetry. He was a very good climber in his own right, and also fond of a pint and a chip buttyJust ordered the book about him by Jim Perrine on the big river.
I surely will Jack.Let me know what you think Bob, Jim Perrin is certainly one of the most eloquent climbing writers Britain has ever had, and his prose often reads like poetry. He was a very good climber in his own right, and also fond of a pint and a chip butty![]()
oodles of character Dwight.
Good job!, get yourself a cordless hedge ttrimmer. Paired with a lambI'm right there with you!Hope I didn't miss anything important either. Even though I haven't posted much recently, I still try to read through as much as I can.
Jack, I hope you are feeling better!!
Hope you aren't as sore today! Feels good to get these projects done though, doesn't it! Mighty fine looking HHB!
I'm in a similar situation..... Did some heavy clean up and pruning in my front yard over the weekend, primarily with just a pair of small hand clippers. This pom pom shrub was the last and I barely made it to the end. Time to invest in an electric clipper!
Glad I had this lambsfoot with me!
Hope you all had a great weekend!
The lamb, wrists & elbows and a hip or 2??A job well done. Now, oil those joints!!
Cool pic!
You sure Mark Knopfler didn't base Basil on you & not Basil Bunting?Let me know what you think Bob, Jim Perrin is certainly one of the most eloquent climbing writers Britain has ever had, and his prose often reads like poetry. It's a good song been in my play list since it came outFirst time I've heard that one BobAn interesting character
Knopfler is a Leeds lad. I remember his band playing, for free, at a beer festival at Sheffield University, early in 1979. We'd never heard of them, but they sounded alright
