Belated happy anniversary, Jack!
Is that lake on Earth? Looks like your anniversary festivities took place on an alien planet!

That depends if you consider Australia to be part of earth. We have plenty of funky oddities here!

That lake is about 25 min drive from where I live. From my house if you drive 50 km south east you hit a mountain range that has lakes and waterfalls etc. but head 50km north west and you’re in desert.
We also have alpine areas that sit under snow for months of the year and ski fields in my state!

You don't have to wear a helmet? Here it's a legal requirement and you get fined with out 1. Not a bad thing I know what we were like on bikes.

Mitch here you will get a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt in your car but you can run 80 mph on a motorcycle with no helmet. Like Jack said... I think it's nobody's business but still seems like a odd contradiction.

In the past week or so, I noticed the second line of the tang stamps on CBD's knives, and I thought it said "July", which seemed like a quite precise date stamp! Looking at a close-up of Dwight's photo, it finally dawned on me that "July" is really "Italy"! (I was just yesterday at the ophthalmologist, who said my current glasses are just fine.)

I don't think that one had internet, (it had music), but the Classic, which came after did, and was only the same size I'm not sure if I was on BF then, but I can definitely remember using it! It DID take forever!

My first several cell phones were Nokias, they were great! The first phone I had with the ability to access the internet was a Samsung Blackjack, but I didn’t pay for a plan with data and never actually used the internet on it. I did like the full keyboard, though. After that I got an iPhone, which is what I’ve had ever since.

I ordered a new bottle for myself when I bought one for the Albers GAW winner. Hadn’t had any in a while. It’s still great.

Our daughter took us to a Twin Cities (I think St. Paul) "down-home country-style" chicken place that I'd have called "southern" when we visited a couple of years ago. They had grits and collard greens and biscuits and other side dishes outside my experience that you could order along with a whole fried chicken served at your table. It was pretty good, but I passed on the grits. (My daughter says the name of the restaurant is Revival.)

I’ve actually been there, and it was pretty good! We’re not over on that side of town very often, but we had dinner there before a concert last year.

I especially like Scout's mainly Minnie Mouse, but with skeletal fingers; the dissonance is chilling!

She said it was “spooky Minnie.”

No Lambsfoot in my pocket today. We took the girls to the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at the Minnesota Zoo tonight, something that has come a bit of an annual tradition for us. I might share some more pics in another thread (don’t want go over-the-top off topic here), but this one in particular made me think of you Jack Black and laugh.

To add to the humor, they had it in a section dedicated to ancient history. It was placed right between a pumpkin featuring an image of the Parthenon and one featuring the Coliseum.

I also thought this one was Guardians worthy.
