Just curious, what sort of targets and range do you usually fire at? Sounds fun! I occasionally get my red rider bb gun out to play around with. I usually just hang a can on a branch in my yard or something. Once in a while I get to shoot at the buzzards that like to hang around near the edge of my yard and the woods, big easy targets.Generous Bob may be out playing golf, but his generosity has stretched all the way to Yorkshire againI just (less than 5 minutes ago) received this stunning slingshot from him!
Not only is it absolutely gorgeous, but it feels incredible in the hand, with a real nice weight to it. I'm going to get it banded-up this afternoon, and give it a go!
One of my favourite frames too
Thanks a lot Bob

Thank you! It is a top quality knife for sure, Cosimo is an exceptional craftsman. I'm proud to call this one mine. Those covers are beautiful, and you can tell it's a quality knife just from your photos.![]()
Bob, I'm craving one myself now! Thank you.Pat, beautiful Lamb. Oh, I have to get a pie now.![]()
Thanks buddy, been trying it out indoors with some plastic ammo, but it's going to look even better with those green Snipersling bandsNice slingshot, way to go Bob !![]()
Incredible pic Steve
Check out 'Lambshank' in the Thread Index Jeff. A few other examples mentioned in the thread tooI don't know why, but it just occurred to me that I've never seen a lambsfoot fixed blade. I'm just curious . . .
if you had one, would you want the blade straight out from the handle, or angled down or slightly up, like a Canadian belt knife?
I couldn't resist picking up this cheapie
Thank you DavidRegal HHB![]()
Thanks so much BobEnjoy Jack, happy plinking.
Great photo Steve.
Good to know about the different width. Mine is waiting for me st stepdaughters. Looking forward to using it.Thank you David![]()
Thanks so much BobObviously, I couldn't resist having a plink this afternoon!
The fork width is a bit wider than most of my slingshots, so I had a couple of misses, but now it's bang on target!
If I can get my work finished tonight, I might be able to have another session

I can only shoot at 25ft indoors, when I use plastic ammo. My regular target is a 3/4" plastic spinner, but during Lockdown, I was shooting at match-heads!Just curious, what sort of targets and range do you usually fire at? Sounds fun! Too cool Jack, thanks!I can only shoot at 25ft indoors, when I use plastic ammo. My regular target is a 3/4" plastic spinner, but during Lockdown, I was shooting at match-heads!I also used to shoot out of the window with clays, to deter pigeons!
Outdoors I use a variety of targets, ranging from 3/4" to about 11/2", or cans if I'm with the kids

Yes, I doubt that whoever came up with that design ever saw a Sheffield Lambsfoot, but as we all know, it's a design that worksVery handy in the kitchen![]()
Beautiful shots Steve
Thanks PatToo cool Jack, thanks!
Wonderful Jeremy
That's some nice jigging Paul, who was the maker? It’s not 50 degrees anymore. Lucky that it’s above 0. This one came in today. A bit over polished which is a shame. I still like it but kind of a letdown. The bone is really nice and I would put it in the bigger lamb category. Hope everyone is having a good day.View attachment 2780650

Congrats, Jeremy. Feels good that these are landing in Guardian’s hands. That slip looks awesome too.
