Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good afternoon gentlemen.

Unfortunately I’ve been in bed the last day and a half with gastro. It’s run through the family (pardon the pun) and my wife and three of the boys have also had it. Not fun times. Aside from a pounding head I’m better than I’ve been.

Just watching Tarantino movies and playing with some lambs on the couch at the moment.

A fine grouping Jack.
I hope all can return to normal health soon.👍🏻

My coffee's too weak. I thought I had enough in the bottom of the old can, but clearly not.

But I have some instant! So this is why I bought that.
[Nice easy fix.]
It rained yesterday, so the lawn is still to be mown.
This is the last day of the extra 10% employee discount at Lowe's, and I think I'll buy some more vinyl cement patch. I'm not sure how much to do with my crumbling lower step to the front porch.
The store credit card says it's giving me a 10% discount all month for my birthday, but today is the day to buy anything more I know I need (and I bought a new toy yesterday, a super compact Gerber utility knife). Paint for the porch railing, and warning paint for until I fix that lower step!

Sorry to hear you've been ill. I hope everyone is on the mend !

Nice wee flock of 🐑's 👍

Afternoon all

Got my chores done and sitting done and watching revenge of the sith, 20 year anniversary this year. It was on the big screen at the end of last month but I missed it.

😎👍

Good morning Guardians, it's a holiday here, and the local club, Leeds United, have won the league championship. There's a victory parade in town, and Matt asked if I wanted to go to it, but I have little interest in the sport, and little time for the club. I was far more excited to hear that the local boy's team had won a football tournament. I bumped into a young lad on my street, who plays for them, and he couldn't wait to show me his medal, and shake my hand :D I have some work to do, but might see if I can meet up with Matt later, for a pint ;) I hope everyone has a good day, and that your week gets off to a decent start

Love the patina on your HHB !

Nearly back to normal other than pain in the lower back and a mild headache. Everyone seems to be recovering now thankfully. Having said that still at home today, no point getting anyone else sick.

Carrying my volkofsky to celebrate his win of best knife in show at the Melbourne knife show over the weekend. Unfortunately it was a fixed blade and not one of his pocket knives but well done none the less 🙂

Glad you're improving Jack. Sorry to hear it was a "family affair". Beautiful lambs.

Regular ole day. Work tonight but I did start a new show so I got that going for me on my slow slow shift. The show is called “Mob Land” it is really good. Tom Hardy, Pierce Bronson, and Helen Mirren in a show about the London Mob. 0 percent chance it’s bad.

Got the Stag Charlie lamb tonight.

Glad you're still on the mend Jack, and that's great news about the show win
Lovely composition my friend, that house is surrounded by some wonderful countryside I miss very much

Looks good from the trailer I've seen Paul :) Nice pic there buddy :) Hope work passes easily
Jack Black Jack Black 80 years ago today VE Day. Those that were there getting very thin on the ground. A lot of people now have no idea what VE Day is.

I am using our time zone as the day, just to avoid any confusion and conjecture.
When I was a kid, a lot of houses still had a 'V' painted on them. Leeds city centre was packed with 150,000 football fans celebrating 'their' victory yesterday. Not all bad, by any means, but the usual scenes of drunken yobbishness associated with British football, inevitably. A different generation for sure

Good morning Guardians, I hope the week is going well for you so far :) The holiday here turned into a work day for me, and quite a busy one, but I did get a couple of hour's break to have tea with Matt and his family in the pub, and even managed to have a few margaritas for Cinco de Mayo! :D Frustratingly, I got home to find my work meeting cancelled, so I poured myself a large whiskey ;) I am about to embark on another big chunk of work in Bradford, starting on Thursday, then commencing Monday, and running for 3 weeks, so it's unlikely I'll be down at the market for a while, or indeed doing much apart from work  Nothing, so far, today though, so I think I'll slipped down to Charlie's, and then head into town :) Have a good day Guardians

Yeah, grab it while you've got it!

I got the back lawn mowed after work. After nine days it was pretty long and thick, and my battery was at one out of five bars before I was done, but it looks nice for the nonce.

The woodchuck isn't as stupid as I would like. He's dug a tunnel under the back of the shed, presumably reacting to my assault on the first tunnel, and covered it with a piece of roll roofing that came off the shed. I've seen him only once recently, running across the neighbor's back yard to get to his hole between the garage and the shed.
It might help him shift his range northward if I take the doors off the shed and clear any cover from around the shed. Those doors need work anyway.
