Went for a range day and then bbq with my nephew. His first shots with a Kalashnikov. Really good shot at 14 years. Chisholm Trail in Lockhart, TX for the brisket and sausages.

It never stopped snowing yesterday, so I'll have to clear it again before I go out. One nice thing; at least as of yesterday, it was blowing off the roof, so I shouldn't need to rake my eaves.
Makes me wonder how much I could find down the back of the sofa! What a nice surprise!

My trip to town didn't go quite as planned, as I forgot my wallet (again)!I didn't realise until I was a mile down the road at the cafe. It turned out I had over £10 in change in my pocket, and after I'd opened the back of my phone, and various other stash places, I had nearly £100, so I went to town anyway. I got a few grocery items, but it was a bit early to have lunch, so I had a sausage roll and a jam doughnut at home, the Tool Man Diet!
Speaking of Tool Man, he rang me yesterday, and when I told him what I had for my Christmas dinner, he was quick to point out that he hadn't eaten any vegetables, or any fruit - obviously!
It sounded like he'd enjoyed himself
