Queen Victoria market in Melbourne is a big draw card and gets cold and wet in Melbourne. Has a mixture of food and clothes and rhe usual sort of stalls.

We would go there my senior year in high school ( '67 ). New Jersey's drinking age was 21, New York's was 18.

That’s funny, I was one of the lucky? kids, and bars were open until 3 AM in those days.

LOL! When I was a teenager, last orders in pubs was 10.30am Fortunately, I quickly discovered shebeens and drinking dens, which were another world

I can imagine Leon, I'm glad it's still thriving though Visitors used to come from other parts of Europe to visit Leeds Market when I was a kid, now they barely bother coming from inner city Leeds

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is managing to keep warm, with all these low temperatures It's still colder than usual here, but also raining all the time We had the wettest December in record, and I'd be surprised if there's no flooding somewhere roundabouts. The nearest river of any size, which most of you folks would probably call a creek, is a couple of miles away, downhill, so I'm OK, but my travel plans could be affected. I'm not looking forward to travelling tomorrow, particularly as it is for work Today, I have the dentist this afternoon, and the new guy seems as clueless as the rest of them, but hopefully he can at least replace a simple filling Wolfie is busy, so I won't be seeing him, as I usually do on Fridays, so I think I'm just going to catch up with some housework Carrying this Twisted Assisted Lamb Have a good day Guardians
