Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Nice to share that sweet lamb with a dish of delicious food!!
Thanks buddy, that would probably have fed two, so I'm pretty full (for now)! :D I don't recall ever having lamb in a Chinese restaurant here, or elsewhere in Europe. Doesn't mean it's not eaten in China of course ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜‰
Glad to hear you were able to make it to the market ๐Ÿ‘

Thanks my friend ๐Ÿ‘

Good luck with everything David ๐Ÿ‘
Nice GL David.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
We have not had mail for 3 days, and it did not snow or get ice. Very backwards here.
By coincidence, when I got my mail today, the postie said that there was a backlog of mail at the depot. I don't know why, maybe people off with flu or something ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Nice pic Mitch :) I've been reading too, I read a non-fiction book by this feller, and while the content was very good, I was extremely impressed by the quality of the prose. A novel was mentioned, so I ordered it, it's pretty good I think  Coffee was good in the out of town cafe where I was having a meeting too

Hope you're keeping warm Jer

Good luck Bob :) Sure wears you out as you get older! :D That's a great pic buddy

Thanks a lot Steve, I always enjoy carrying this knife :)

I managed to get all my work out of the way by mid afternoon, so I thought I'd head down to the market. I was too late for any sourdough, but I did get to chew the fat with Tool Man for an hour or so

Does iron infusion = iron man?

Mongolian lamb is a staple dish in Chinese restaurants here.

The temps seem to be coming up a bit and thawing the ice out. I'm ready for spring!

A dynamic woman from China ran a restaurant for about 10 years within walking distance of our house!! The area of China where she was from featured Lamb in their cuisine, and it was exquisite!!๐Ÿ˜‹ She closed down about two years ago because her rent doubled - it was a sad day!!
We ate there 2-3 times a month!!:( Vancouver has a LOT of Chinese restaurants!!

Thanks jack

That's interesting Mitch, I have noticed, when I've travelled, that the menu in a Chinese or Indian restaurant can be quite different than in another. I must admit though, that it's actually a while since I last ate in a Chinese restaurant here, there are much fewer of them than in the past, with more Thai, Japanese, and Vietnamese places having opened over the past couple of decades ๐Ÿ‘

That's a shame Charlie, it's always sad when a favourite restaurant closes, but I'm glad you have alternatives. Apparently, the largest factor in the decline of Chinese (and Indian) restaurants here, is that the children and grandchildren of the founders have loftier ambitions than working in the family restaurant. Leeds has a very large number of Chinese students, but they are quite affluent ๐Ÿ‘
Superb pic Steve ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘

Good news Pat, I hope you get an early one. It's still pretty dreary here, but my daffodils are starting to come up. Great pic ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ‘
Happy Double Lambsfoot Day! ๐ŸŽ‰
Sweet pic of Violet Mitch ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘

Good Morning Guardians, how's everyone doing? The weather is pretty miserable here today, cold, and raining heavily. It was sleeting when I got up, and I thought it might turn into snow, but hasn't happened yet. Nobody was surprised when the forecast 'Snowpocalypse' earlier this week, turned out to be complete rubbish. I'm sure we'll see some snow at some point though, and would actually welcome a change from the near-endless rain we've had this winter  I have a dental appointment this afternoon. The new guy I'm seeing is even less impressive than the previous one, but hopefully he can manage to do a simple filling ๐Ÿซฃ I have a few other errands to run, which won't be pleasant in the rain, but they need doing  Carrying Barrett's GL-24 again today, stainless might be a good idea ;) Have a good Friday Guardians, the weekend is almost here :)

I picked up some of these large Simpleshot slingshot targets, which I thought would be fun for the kids to shoot at. I'd probably have been better just making some really :D

These winters of late truly make one appreciate the Spring more and more Jack.
They are actually calling for 3-5 inches of snow here!! ( I was just playing golf yesterday ๐Ÿค”).
Nice gift idea for the kids Jack. I've been using 22 pistol targets of late.
