Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Nearly at bottom of page one. Having all sorts of trouble with my internet connection. A quadruple Lamb Day. ;) .

   Good to see your CC being well used. 👌🤠
Thanks, it finds its way into my pocket quite a bit. My hands or maybe pocket seem to have a decently strong reaction to whatever steel GEC use on their all steel model bolsters. I was just thinking if I should leave the corrosion or maybe polish it off.

Thanks Jack :)

Yeah, six more weeks of winter 🥶
The ferrets are cuter 🤗
I hope they pass quickly Mike :)
Thanks Jack.
No missing pieces or nee aches.😃
I certainly have the aches, but nothing missing, other than my marbles, thanks Mitch :D
That has some nice character Tyson :)
Was going through some knife boxes just now and ran across my Lambfoot knives - the last of some twenty or so I had at one time. The one covered with
snakewood is a gift from Jack Black Jack Black that he passed on when I purchased a Stag Hartshead Barlow Lambfoot from him. It was a bit rough (fully disclosed by Jack and much appreciated by me) so Jason Ritchie @Signalprick did a wonderful rehab of it for me.

The Snakewood Lambfoot fresh as it came from Jason prior to me using it and use it I do. A big thanks to Jack and Jason.

Great to see your Lamb collection Ed, depleted by your generosity towards your fellow Guardians as it is :) Jason did a great job
Today's carry!! A fine Cosimo, and a fine (.9999) Canadian coin!! With a Bison on the move!!!View attachment 3095341
I believe Canada minted this coin in 2015!! It is an $8 (eight dollar) coin - 1 1/4 OZ fine silver!!
Stunning rendition of your Ancient Barlow Charlie, is that Ram's Horn? A very cool coin too
Such a classy lamb ! 👍
Thanks pal :)

Fantastic pic Steve
Looks like you're getting some sunshine there David :) Handsome Lamb

Thank you for the rescue Leon :) Sorry to hear about your internet woes mate, I can relate
I was also worried about shifting over to page 2 there for a bit 😮

Snapped a quick picture to help out.

Thanks for your vigilance Hoff :) That's a great shot of Charlie's first Lamb
Evening all
The Barrett.
Great choice Mitch :)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone's week is going well. I'm absolutely worn out today, despite a good night's sleep. I'm wondering if I let myself get rehydrated 🤷‍♂️ Miserable weather again, mist and rain, and cold  I'm hoping to meet up with Wolfie for a coffee today, maybe even lunch if he has time, and I need to pick up some groceries. I hope you all have a good day :)

Got L'Ariete in my pocket :)

I have a new (additional) doctor today, at the southern edge of my known universe. While I'm in the neighborhood, I hope to get a new mask for my cpap. The so-called full mask they gave me with the new machine covers my mouth but has a sling for my nostrils. I want the one that covers nose and mouth. That should spread out the wear on a larger area of my face, keep my mouth from drying out, and leave my narrow nostril unimpeded.

Good luck with the fit Jer.

The Barrett.

The Micarta on your Barrett sure has darkened or is it an illusion of the lighting ?

Fantastic pic Steve

Thank you kindly Jack 👍

I find it hard to drink enough water in the winter even although it needed being as dry as it is here with the freezing temps.

Have a good one buddy 👍

Hope some caffeine puts some pep in your step Jack. That blade is developing a fine patina.

The Barrett.

Ok, what is your coffee topped with Mitch?
What I want to know, and I've been studying on this for a while, is how do you get this to your mouth without slopping it all over the place? All these beautiful cups of coffee Mitch posts and I'd have to bend over and slurp some out before trying to pick it up. Or use a straw or a spoon 😬
Sure are pretty though 👍:)

I'm guessing cinnamon?

I'll second Bob in hoping you get a good fit Jer  I really need to go back to the Sleep Clinic myself
Thanks. It should be fine. The cpap works well for me, and I think the only alternative is some kind of electrical implant in the chest.

Hope you're not snoring like a Beast Jer ;)
Thank you kindly Jack 👍

Yes Steve, I used to go backpacking in winter, and used to really notice it then. You'd think I'd have learned by now! :D

Thanks buddy, I had a coffee at Charlie's, and then another with Wolfie later. He didn't have time for lunch, but we had some nice cake :)

I finally got round to buying a calendar! :D This photo is for Harry Old Engineer Old Engineer :) I remember when they first introduced this herd of Highland Cattle onto Curbar Edge, one of the moorland areas near Sheffield I have hiked since I was a boy, and have missed greatly these past few years
