I hope you have a nice time at the folks' house Mitch, I hope you have the relationship where you can tell your Dad just how much he means to you all. :)

Today, I have a few things to do in respect of both appointments, and since I'll be busy tomorrow, I need to get some sandwich stuff in for Friday, as I'm going to the annual Good Friday Pace-Egg do with Matt and his family. Aaah we are brothers alike Jack, I had my first Podiatry appointment yesterday! Sounds like a busy day there!

The bread stall in the market does some nice ciabatta rolls, and since I won't have time to shop tomorrow, I thought I'd get a couple for my sandwiches on Friday. I got to the stall at the same time as a posh woman, who I let go in front of me. She asked how many ciabatta rolls they had, and when told there were only 4, she bought them, and half the rest of the bread on the stall 😕

Mitch, you are a great son to your father. I hope the gathering raises your dads spirits to fight on.

Thanks Duncan.
Don’t need a lot of words he was always there for us growing up. Always there and not overly judgmental when you stuff up as boys do😉
Always great with our families and great with the grandkids. My kids still only eat white bread cause that’s what Poppy eats 😁
Up until this year he and used to have a quiet beer together.
The special thing is he is our Step Dad and chose to be there we love him for that 😎

Oh yeah he got me interested in knives.
Still remember him showing me how to sharpen a kitchen knife on the back step.
