Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good morning Guardians, welcome to the weekend! ;) I hope y'all have something nice planned, even if it's just doing nothing :D The sun has disappeared here, and it's raining :( I sure hope that it changes, otherwise I'll just have to go to the pub ;) No plans yet, but me and Matt are determined to drink some beer at some point, however the weather is :D Have a great day Guardians

Great thing about beer, it’s good no matter the weather! 😁 To paraphrase the (unofficial) United States Post Office creed, “Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these pub-goers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.” 🤣🍻

Been parking my car outside a lot lately. Took a quick ride through the car wash to clean it up a bit.

GL-24 in my pocket today.

Out this morning with Sue, it’s Mothers day here, and this lady is one outstanding Mumma who has sacrificed, worked so hard for, saved for and loves her children so much, I take my hat of to this amazing lady.
So off to breakfast we go ..,
( yes Jack, it’s a Flat White 😊)

Last night went out for a drink and snack out at a place called Puketapu - it has a nice Pub there, we drove past this and both said we must come back during the day as it would be so pretty, so we did after Breakfast.
Bridgewater is privately owned estate where 30 years of machinery works in turning an eye sore swamp into one of the most attractive privately owned lakes here in NZ is a feast for the eyes.

If you want to google; BRIDGEWATER, Puketapu and there is a little bit of history and what they had to do to achieve such a stunning outcome.

Great pictures mate ! 👍

You might get sick of seeing Marco 😁

I doubt it 😍👍

Sounds like a good day planned buddy, have fun 👍
Thanks Steve, it was a good one :)
Good Saturday to you. I liked the picture Jack posted of the boys Thursday. Good one. I ran across a video of some seniors at a facility rocking out to Highway To Hell and I thought of that picture.

Marco looks great Mitch. Way to go Bob. I really don’t have names for knives except for my Dill Pickle Lambsfoot. Here’s the pile side of this Cosimo. I’m thinking of calling it Tiny Tool Man. I don’t know. Maybe not.

I was just reading about the Yorkshire Witch, Mary Bateman. Her skeleton was displayed there at a local museum until 2015. Odd interesting story.

Have a great weekend Guardians.

LOL! Great Smooth White Bone Cosimo Kurt  Maybe it does have something in common with Tool Man! 🤣

Mary Bateman's case is featured in my favourite book about Leeds history :D

LOL! :D It was unexpectedly cold here yesterday, as well as wet, but it was warm and dry in the pub - not too dry of course! :D ;)
Still in the honeymoon phase with this 93. Patina journey has started. Looking forward to see how it develops over time. Hope everyone has a wonderful Mothers Day with the Women and Moms in their lives.

Thanks for the incredible photos Duncan, I'm glad that you and Sue had a lovely morning, and that the aliens didn't get her! :D

Very unlikely Mitch! :D Cool pic

Good morning Guardians, Mother's Day was back in March here, but Happy Mother's Day to the ladies everywhere else! :D I had a nice day with Matt and his family yesterday. I got to the pub just before Matt and Cillian, and Matt got the first round in. Cillian demolished the pub's 'Empire State Burger' before the girls arrived, and we had another couple of pints. We called in the supermarket next door to pick up some more beer, and then went back to Matt's. Cillian was excited to show me his room, which he's been re-organising, and I was impressed. We ordered curry, and watched a couple of movies, and then I got a taxi home, concluding an enjoyable day :) The sun is out today, but I'll probably just do some stuff in the house, and a bit of lollygaggin' I hope everyone is having a great weekend, and that you enjoy your Sunday

That's right, I was going to stay away from the forum for Mothers' Day. (Mine, like many others' here, is dead.)
Lowe's was giving away MD annual flowers yesterday to Lowe's Rewards members. I got one and planted it by Mom's lilac.

Figure 5 here is what I'm going to do to my wild cherry, hawthorn, black hawthorn, common buckthorn, which is an invasive shrub that leaps like a gazelle and spreads like the plague.
