I've been reading this thread regularly, but I haven't posted anything here for almost 4 months! I'm glad that when I "broke my silence", my post at least had some informational value.

Try flushing the joint out with some oil and compressed air (see the Thread Index in Post 1 for instructions - under maintenance) to improve the action. Wright's edges have been terrible these past few years

I feared I might have to spend time in the Guardians' Gaol for dereliction of duty, so outstanding dues isn't so bad, I guess.
(Although I was hanging around the Tech subforum this morning, seeing if I could understand what was going on with unusual technical "behavior" on BF today, and I got the impression that PMs regarding dues are not getting through currently. )
