Good Sunday morning, Guardians! Very sorry to have missed your Challenge Drawing, Jack. Even more sorry to have been so busy this past week with a not-so-minor move: pulling a number of items, mostly hundreds of boxes of books from earlier in my life and career, from one climate controlled shortage into a new, smaller, nicer storage unit. They will eventually be donated to the Dallas Public Library and my alma mater. Opening any given box is like a time capsule. I should have hired a moving company but I thought Iβd be able to sort, purge, etc., on the fly if I did it myself. I got through about 10% before I just decided to bulk move the lot through brute force. Iβm going to push the opening, sorting, shelving and donating until cooler months. At least I had these two gems to keep me company:

In other news, my dad is recovering from a scary fall that put him in the hospital last week. Fortunately, it wasnβt much worse considering what happened and the impact he took at age 85. Heβs back home as of yesterday and on the mend. My mother is an emotional wreck. I am traveling to stay with them and help out for a week or so. All that said, I recognize daily what a blessing it is to have them both relatively healthy at this age. I hope everyone has a relaxing and peaceful Sunday, with at least a bit of lollygagging.
