Guess right and you will receive Buck date code mouse pad.

Makael- I am very sorry my son did this in your thread, The differences we have are nobody's concern. I am glad he was banned he did wrong and his computer was taken away and locked in my safe. The boy is 15 years old and thought he could do anything he wanted because it was open to guess what you have displayed. He went over the top thinking it was funny. I am glad I was not banned for his mistake. He knows my sign in information and linked the account that he made to mine somehow. I am asking you to forgive him, he now knows what he did was wrong and is paying the penalty. I told him if he wants to use the computer to go to the library. As for me he has been a handful since he entered high school with outstanding discipline necessary. I am not only apologizing for him I apologize for myself, I have been through and have seen much agony that people are unexpectedly thrown into the middle of. That is some of why I quit being a Police Officer. It made me cold and callous and I always expect the unexpected and put up a defense where one is not necessary I sincerely apologize from my heart for what has happened in the past. I hope that you can understand and forgive and forget the tension between us, as for my son, I am thinking about sending him to a military academy or someplace for special schooling which he needs.

Thank You, Makael
Please understand!

Michael, whether this is true or not doesn't really matter. But it was awesome.

MICHAEL5135 - you need to turn on user messages to keep the public lashing to a minimum. Is this your only son? Were you a cop, parole officer, or prison guard, I'm confused.

Back on topic...
Here's a hint:
Makael mentioned an issue in another thread recently that this chunk of steel is used to correct.

Have thanked RedDevil from the Buck forum for dealing with issues before they became real group problems, let sleeping dogs lie.

I was going to venture a chunk of lead guess also but I see its already guessed. Don't need mouse pad.

I could see that being used for a lot of purposes...I know braided leather needs to be kneaded and rolled, so I will guess that. Preston

I have decided to leave BladeForums for a while and let the turmoil settle. I will be back in a couple of months. To use PM you need to join BladeForums as a member, so I am unable to use that feature. I will miss the SPS. I will still observe. GOODBYE! I think it is for the best.

I'm guessing it's a block of lead and would work well set your hot branding iron on it.

Round thing on the bench: A tool to make visitors to your shop ask "What is that?!?"

Nail sticking out of bench: An anchor for your strop.

The bench: To put stuff on and work on your leather goods.

There are lots of uses for a large flat chunk of steel. The number one use is ...... it does a damn good job of keeping my beer cold in my shop regardless of temp.

I use this as my anvil for snap setting.

Giving away two mouse pads.
1. Closest guess was Williamw, he said put my beer on so it wouldn't sweat on the leather:thumbup:
2. Second mouse pad picked randomly is Tiguy7.

Thanks guys. I'll dig up another item within a couple days and post it up to pick a winner by next Sunday. There is quite a few items out there that are hard to find related to Buck.

I'll put up a Buck Arkansas stone for next Sunday. Separate thread.

I don't think I ever would've figured out what that thing was used for, and it's a lot smaller than I thought it was. I thought it was as big as a wheel of cheddar, not a coaster.
Anyways this was a cool giveaway and congrats to the winners, even if you don't need a mousepad it would make a great background for anything you post in the Sunday picture show.

Mike:
My guess was what I would use it for. I didn't really think I would win because I assumed that you would have a more serious use for it. Will look forward to getting the mouse pad.

Thanks again, Bill
