Gun Picture Thread

Not a firearm, but a 65 year old CZ Slavia 618 youth air rifle that I did some shooting with this evening after work.

I've been a lifelong airgunner because I can't shoot any of my firearms in my backyard, or in the case of this particular little gem in my garage or hallway when it's too cold wet and windy outside.
Dry firing is boring, and nothing beats actual shooting for marksmanship practice.

The 26 is very manageable in the recoil department. It’s more accurate than it should be for such a small pistol. I shot it this morning, along with some others.

I am not bragging but my son can shoot!! He is a detective with the city ( Pittsburgh Police) and has to qualify with that gun. He is always 1-2 in the end!!
Now dad can’t hit the side of a barn at 5 paces!! 😂🤣😂
When he was a senior in high school he got to spend a week at Kay-Jerry Miklik campus shooting.
I know I spelled that wrong but anyhow Kay spent alot of time with my son shooting. It shows.
Corey is 40 now but still a shooting fool. 🤣🤣

That’s what I’m all about. Practice to make myself a better, faster and more accurate shooter. Plus, shooting is my way of unwinding for the week, and it’s always a blast, literally!
 
Curious which of you carry strongside inner waist band? I've been carrying appendix since I started but I'm thinking about making the switch.
 
I carry at 3:30-4:00 IWB, mainly during the winter months where I can conceal a little better with a coat. For this carry position, I prefer leather, it’s much more comfortable. For AIWB, I prefer kydex.

Depends on what I'm carrying, what I'm wearing, and what I'm doing. In general, I find 3:30-4:30 more comfortable for most things. But living in a place with serious winters, and the need to wear heavy layers, it's slower to draw.

Primarily IWB year round, 3:30 to 4:00 using a Crossbreed Supertuck. If my lower back is giving me issues, I might switch to OWB with cover garment.

That is cool info about your son, John! I’m just a civilian amateur enthusiast but I learned more about shooting and firearms in general from Jerry Miculek’s videos than any other instruction I ever had.
