Gun Picture Thread

Looks like mine must be a transition model. It has the straight pump shaft and same rear sight as your 177, but has 117 stamped in the end cap.

Well they started with the 100 177 and 122 pistols in '35 before quickly changing the model numbers to 107 and 102 , then introduced the cobbled on lever as the 110 117 and 112 a couple years later which ran till the brass was needed for the war.
I believe production resumed in '46, but I'm not sure if they made more of these or not, because the 130 137 and 132 with traditional underlever pump had already been created.

The info I have comes the records Crosman has having purchased Benjamin around '91, but Crosman has been bought and sold so many times that there are tons of holes in their information.

This info here might be more detailed if you're interested, I'm not seeing much that's better than I've seen from Crosmans site but it's been awhile since I've looked there.

I had one of those. Same barrel length and cal. Thank you for the memories.

It's one of the new ones, not the original Python. Still it's a pretty decent revolver with a nice fit and finish. The original 3" versions fetch big prices, the ones with the Combat Python marking from Lew Horton especially. Last NIB one sold for $8,750....

I have one Vaultek safe, a LifePOD. thinking of getting another... lockable box... and am in shopping around mode right now.
I have the medium lifepod. I use it traveling and keep my modified P365X SAS in it in my glove box when I'm not carrying it.
