It is a pre-model number 3" Baby Chief, born in 1951ish. A 5 shot J frame .38 special, it became the model 36. The Model 13 is a 6 shot K frame .357, similar to the 10 but in .357

I thought about trying some of those out, but saw some pics of them with some big gaps. I don’t doubt they are awesome mags though, I shoot a lot of Mecgar through my CZ. Flawless mags, but didn’t look like they sit flush with the bottom of the grip. You got a side pic of it in your gun?

That looks better than some of the others I’ve seen. I’ve got oodles of factory mags and couldn’t justify spending any more money on mags I don’t need.

I get that. I'm just not a huge fan of the polymer mags compared to my guns that run metal mags. These being only $20 right now helped to justify that purchase. No, this is one by a company called Rapid Engineering. The design used to be made by Sand Storm Precision. I bought one for my 48 because I get slide bite on that gun every time I shoot it. I "saved" money by buying two so I thought I'd try one on the full size.

I'm down to two Glock's now. My 17 and 48.

I do have something new that should be at my FFL tomorrow though.

Since Glock is discontinuing certain modals, I’m going to pick up a gen 5 G30 for a new carry piece in .45 My LGS has Glocks on sale again, so might as well.
