You are certainly doing your part to keep Glock's doors open.

My G30 is Gen 3 I believe. No gen embossed on the slide but finger grip 2010-2011 vintage. Christmas gift from my wife.
About to step out the door for my weekly range trip with it! Probably won’t be there long since it’s pissing like crazy outside.

Buddy of mine gave me one of his old uppers. An original Bushmaster Dissipator. Doubt it has more than 5 or 600 rds thru it. It was filthy, Probably shooting Wolf or some other crap. He never cleaned it, but it cleaned up nice.
Had the terrible Hogue AR Overmold forearm. 🤮 I put an old PRI forearm on it.
I had most of the parts to finish it out. The upper already had the BCM bolt carrier group. Waiting on the front sight detent spring and a better charging handle. At some point, I’ll probably get the barrel threaded. Not sure if I’ll keep the forward grip.
Fairly lightweight, should make a good truck gun.

There’s one for sale locally in about 85% condition but not as good mechanically as I’d like. I passed on a pretty nice pre war Kit Gun a year ago, the front front sight blade had been replaced with a cobbled up piece.

The stock on the Bekeart had some damage that I repaired, but the rest of it is in very good shape. It is or was very accurate when my eyes were able to see the fine front sight bead. The fine machine work around the knurled extractor rod is an example of how they don't make them like they used too.

The prewar kit gun is one of those grail guns, a 1953 22/32 is as close as I have got to one. The second photo shows the ill-fitting non original stocks, Finding affordable period correct I-frame grips is next to impossible

I gave my G30 to my son, because I could just never get used to it. Our duty guns were G21s. Every time I looked down the sights, that big, fat, flat, top reminded me of an aircraft carrier deck.:)

Counting the 30 that I gave to my son, I have five Glocks, and I never paid over $400 for any of them, because the local LE toy store sold them for $390-something. Of course,I've been retired for 11 years, so they're undoubtedly more now.

I have a G21 as well, but I love this 30. It’s got quite a snap with 230gr+p coming out of it! I wanted something a little more compact than the G21 in .45, so this G30 fits that role well.

It does have a little snap but it just feels good in the hand. Christmas present 2011 from my wife. Has more miles on it than any other gun I own. Almost two years in South Florida, daily regardless of the weather.
