Gun Talk-Anything that goes Bang Anytime!

I keep a Kahr PM45 on my ankle full time. I'm not allowed to wear a belt gun at work even though I'm the armorer. Figure that one out.
Actually I'm not allowed to carry a gun at all hence the stealth ankle gun. Shhhsh, lose lips sink bawanna.

My daily haul out equipment. The 1911 has to stay in the van when I get to work, the little no name knife is now replaced with the IBBB of course.

I have a Glock 21 and 3 full mags in a small desk safe under the guise of giving to an officer if he happens to get a call while I'm messing with his gun. 6 unissued 21's and 6 unissued AR15's also in a large safe at my desk but I can't be trusted with a belt gun????

Shavru, I am a glock guy, before I was an LEO though (what brought me to glock I had Springfields. The xds is a fine BUG, as was the S&W bodyguard, I also had a kahr cw9 that was nice. My next purchase will be a S&W 340 PD ultra light that I want for jogging and a summer time back up gun when I can't carry the 26 in my ankle glove

" I am in awe of your 12ga lever action... I love seeing Arnold Schwarzenegger on his Harley shooting at the 18 wheeler in T2. My favorite lever gun has always been the Winchester 1886. "

The 12 ga lever action is actually a 10 gauge. Ironic, I watched Arnold last night, feeling poorly, stumbled on it crashed in front of the TV. I liked the one in Monte Walsh that Shorty carried with a pillow tied on the buttstock, it must have been a 10 too I'm thinking, probably bucks a bit.
It and a Winchester 73 also pictured have been in the family since they were new. I was told by my grandparents that they were purchased in Independence Missouri and came across the country in a covered wagon, they obviously weren't stored in hard cases as they show they been around the block but never abused.
Priceless to me.

There was a third 32-20 along with them but a doped no account cousin stole it from my grandmother and pawned it, his brother heard about it and tried to get it back but was too late and it's lost.
My cousin who we all tried to help but kept away from my grandma since he was a doping lying thief died of natural causes before I could kill him myself. Oh well.

I almost got one of those S&W Bodyguards when they first came out. Really nice. I ended up getting a Ruger LCP because they threw in a CT laser for the same price. Great daily carry but it would occasionally misfire. Way to regular for my satisfaction. I tryed all kinds of ammo and it didnt help. I think there was a burr on the ramp or somewhere where the bullet would get half chambered cocked up and the slide would get stuck. I sure didnt want to found dead somewhere with that thing jammed up. Never trusted it. My buddy had the same gun with Coyote Special stamped on it and never had a problem with it. That was the gun our state governor apparently used to kill a coyote during an attack:rolleyes: so Ruger decided to make a special edition LCP commemorating the attack.

Great pics Bawanna. That 10 gauge must be awesome to shoot.

That rug looks a lot like one my parents have. And I think someone else has posted photos of a very similar one.

Cool rug! Used to have one like that growing up. But we have no clue what happened to it.

Thanks guys The wife and I are very pleased with it. It's our Christmas present to ourselves.

Coolest Carbine goes to Nemesis. Can't compete with a SBR select fire weapon. I need to move to more southern friendly class3 states to make life easier. I was debating on getting a tax stamp for a SBR build but the new forearm support pistol attachment makes the tax stamp unconvince and wait unnecessary. They have some factory Sig 556 and AK pistols already available.

I had a little rock horseplay as a kid too. Missed my eyes and took it in the mouth. That was the start of very few teeth up top for ole bawanna.

I'll look for some gun pics.

Gangster

Wall hangers that all shoot.

Couple lever guns. Cowboy up!

Daily carry with some hippo teeth. Made some grips out of the teeth. Tough stuff.

Hippo Tooth grips

My little pal at National Night Out a few years back. Actually holding her up, her little legs couldn't support the weight of that SWAT vest.

My 3 Kahrs, don't take up much room in the garage.

That's a start. Thank goodness I had pictures, all I have left is the memories. Flash flood last year took em all. Now all I got is my Roy Rogers autographed Daisy Red Ryder. Still painful to think about it.
I'm working on building a new collection but it's a slow process.

how in the hell did you get a hold of a thompson? i am so jealous. and in front of THE Dukes picture too. You need a browning 1919 BAR for that collection.;)

You can still buy a Thompson. It's semi auto and completely legal with no stamp. Very fun. Very heavy!

I'll check the list of what I have buried, might be one of them BAR's in that bunch.

you can still buy a transferable full auto thompson for around 16 k the 19 20s types for around 22 k; thompson is a great gun

Yup... There is a local class 3 dealer near me that has a Colt for sale. It's a little more expensive because it is mint $26k. You can get fully transfable HK auto Sears for 12k... M16 15k

I really still want a thompson, but I seem to spend all my cash on knives--- I have fired one several times, and I can scarcely think of a better firearm for close quarters-- the old man has a semi that still looks pretty like bawanna's but I really like the history behind the old full autos too , we had two (full autos) that saw combat in ww2 and the six day war, one was checkered by previous owners and had some hebrew scratched into it-- we surrendered both to the ATF when the old man gave up his class 2, can only be owned by military or police :(-- I like to think they found a good home somewhere, but more than likely they got burnt, since this was a hectic time I doubt he filled out the form 10 to give to museum.

this is why I still really want one, even if I cant find one with the history of those, it would be nice to own an antique fully operational thompson ( 1920s)

I worked at Auto-Ordnance in West Hurley in the early '90's building 1911s. Coincidentally that's where all those semi (and full) auto Thompsons came from-we occasionally got in a class 3 1928 for repairs. For some reason it took about five of us two hours to test fire it...

Thought a couple of you might enjoy my other addiction.

I have been known to make some custom stocks for something we call a Specialty Pistol.

My latest is a Custom Savage Striker pistol pak.

Comes with a 18" 30-06 barrel mounted, with extra barrels in 270 win, 25-06 and 308. Also has an extra customized camo stock just for hunting.

Oh yes, its for sale if this interests you.
