Guyot backpacker and GSI Cup

+3 on TwoWolves. They're the only place I'll buy my guyots from. :D

On a side note, I read somewhere that the problem with some gsi cups not fitting was that they weren't actually the same model of cup. They have two sizes, I think.

I bought a couple of the clearance GSI cups on REI to go on my standard guyots. The dimensions were exactly the same as those listed on the twowolves site, but they didn't fit over the bottom. What I did find, was that the cup fitted pretty well over the top of the guyot. So, if you bought the clearance cups from REi, give it a try. It's not ideal, but serviceable.

My local Sportsman's Warehouse used to sell the Guyot standard bottle and also sells the GSI cups. You could take a bottle and try on all the cups. Some would fit and some wouldn't.

There are also some slight tolerance issues, I'm sure. :D The TwoWolves folks will check to make sure it fits if you ask, as well. They're real champs that way.

TwoWolves are forum members also right?

I like dealing with forum members. I started with a knife from Stomper, then a knife from Derrick at knivesshipfree among a couple of others.

Nalgene Outdoors now distribute the stainless guyot bottle - they usually have competitive prices (the standard bottle is $26), and they have free shipping on orders over $20.
