That's not even the least bit conclusive. I suspect you'd have to start eating Nalgene bottles by the dozens to begin to have an issue with BPA's. But all this is good for Nalgene, they get to sell you stainless steel bottles for three times the price.![]()
Being able to throw the thing on the fire is worth the +$14 in my mind. I am not a chemist and it's true even taking a breath of air in your home has some ill effects. I am just guessing that there is more to this than a Nalgene marketing campaign. Hopefully someone with better info will chime in. I am typing this whilst drinking from a plastic Aquafina water bottle and a Dixie cup.
