In the past week I have picked up a Tenacious, a Black/Digi Paramilitary 2, and right now I just ordered a Black/Black Manix 2. This was a good week! I plan on adding all of the black dlc spydercos to my collection.

Next is either the Native, or H1 Pacific Salt. What do you guys think about those blades?

lol Try exotic steel like S110V, CPM-M4, etc etc... There are absolutely no end in sight. Turn to the dark side.... ;)

Do you guys know if knifehog.com is legit? They have a smokin good price on a black/black native.

If your not married don't worry. If you are then you better start buying some for the Mrs. which is what I do. =)

The good news is that you'll have plenty of awesome knives. The bad news is that there is no cure. You've been spyderbitten.

Yeah, you have a problem. You still haven't gotten a Military:p

I'll keep working on you, and you'll thank me if you ever get one:D

I'm kidding(partly, lol), you already have some very nice knives there:thumbup:

Yup, you're an addict, there is no hope for you. Just submit to the Spyder. This forum won't help you any either. It's kinda like an AA meeting with an open bar.

My advice is buy them. Whatever model(s) you are considering, it's a Spydie, so you've chosen wisely.

They have a lot of classic value knives. I have 24 and I'm pretty satisfied. I'm not too crazy about the expensive med-small sprints that have been coming out lately. My favorites are the Para2, Stretch, Endura sized knives.

Get the Spyderco Pacific Salt Black Blade (C91BBK) with H-1 steel.

I second that..although i've already told you that :D and yes, Knifehog is legit, I buy from there often, although they don't have alot of the knives I look for. Another site you could try is cutleryshoppe. By the way did I say get a Pacific Salt?

The Native 5 and the Stretch are two of my favorites. Oh wait! The Endura, Delica, Military, UKPK, Dragonfly..................
Sorry! Maybe someday they will invent the "patch" for knife addictions.

Are these things easy to deploy with a middle finger flick? I heard the action is a little stiff.
With me yes, even with my smallest Spydie, the Dragonfly, I can easily flick it open. The problem with the Pacific Salt is, it's pinned, so you can't adjust it. It's not really a problem, but you're going to have to break it in a little before you can start flicking it open. Also, the Salt series are designed as water knives, so the thumb holes are larger, they are designed to be opened easily.
But if i'm not mistaken, Spyderco is now selling the Pacific Salt with adjustable pivot screws, so if that's the case then you'll have no problem.
Plus, what is not to love about a knife that you know you can just wipe clean and not worry about it corroding?

Ok now the real kicker. I have my order placed with Blade HQ for my Manix 2 that will be shipped out tomorrow afternoon. I am thinking about calling them and adding a blade to my order and take advantage of the priority shipping I paid for.

Should I just splurge and get the Military with black blade and camo handles to match my paramilitary 2 ..... or go with the H1 salt? What to do, what to do.

I would get the Salt simply for variety, the Military is only a big brother of the PM, it's probably best to start with a collection of different knives, and then start purchasing different models of the same knives, or the same knife with different steels once your collection is adequate.
Just a suggestion, whatever knife intrigues you most is the one you should get, you can't go wrong with either
Sorry... i'm not helping your wallet in any way right now ;)

They look similar, but different locking mechanism no? I love the 4 inch blade. You know I will get the h1 next if I don't now lol. I just wanted to get the expensive blade while the cash is burning a hole straight through my pocket.
