Guys I have a problem.. I can't stop buying Spyderco's

Yes, Military is Liner lock, and it's only tip-down carry. But the real question is..... :p

My Pacific Salt has the adjustable pivot so it flicks out but initially it needed a wrist-assist.

Military is a must have. The one I have from 2005 still works great. Acts small for such a big folder and it's very light in liner lock G-10.

Another great one is the Gayle Bradley folder with the edge retention of M4 steel that's NOT stainless. One of the toughest liner locks around.

Ok now the real kicker. I have my order placed with Blade HQ for my Manix 2 that will be shipped out tomorrow afternoon. I am thinking about calling them and adding a blade to my order and take advantage of the priority shipping I paid for.

Should I just splurge and get the Military with black blade and camo handles to match my paramilitary 2 ..... or go with the H1 salt? What to do, what to do.

I started with the pm2 and then added a ti military a few months later. Within a month, the Millie completely took over my pocket and I ended up selling the paramilitary. Of course I missed it and I have a new one arriving tomorrow. If you feel like you can handle the stress of trying to figure out which one u love more then yeah, go ahead and grab both. :)

Btw, to further the confusion, did I mention that my se pacific salt is my all time favorite and gets used more than either?! Hehehehehe ;)

I've made my mind up. Ordering the big brother version of my pm2 black/digi. Super excited. And found a really good price. Glad Blade HQ will price match. H1 pacific salt is next in the line up.

You need also the Bradley that some says as smooth as Sebenza. I don't have a Sebenza, but I know it's smooth.

Larger blade if you like is 'poorman' Military, the Resilience. And then the Tatonka when it's released ....
I can't like other opening method now, but a spyderhole ;)

Finally ! :D

You won't regret it. The Military is one of the best knife patterns ever made by anyone. A true classic that every knifenut needs to own(IMO).

So much for blade hq price matching. Found it on amazon prime for 142 shipped 2 day. Blade HQ said 165 was the lowest they could do. Oh well, still placed the order. Get free priority shipping at least. I've spent 450 on blades in the last week. I need to slow my roll lol.

My paramilitary 2 finally arrived. The thing is super smooth, however the pivot is a little tight. I can flick it open easily with thumb and middle finger with zero blade play, but when I release the compression lock the blade doesn't even begin to close unless I give it a rather hard flick. I can only flick it closed maybe 5 out of 10 times or less. Just break it in? Or start adjusting to my likeness.

Yea, break it in, every Spydie, or folding knife general does that. Also, have you put any lube in the pivots yet?

I have not lubed it yet, I have a needle nose applicator with some clp, and another with frog lube. which would be best? And just try and drip a drop between the blade and liner down onto each bushing?

I don't have experience with either lube. I use RemOil with Teflon or Benchmade Blue Lube, both are inexpensive. I always go with the thinnest lube, a thick formula will trap more particles and turn gunky.
And yes, try to apply the lube from all angles and then move the blade up and down until it feels smooth all the way, clean it off and see how it works now

In the past week I have picked up a Tenacious, a Black/Digi Paramilitary 2, and right now I just ordered a Black/Black Manix 2. This was a good week! I plan on adding all of the black dlc spydercos to my collection.

Next is either the Native, or H1 Pacific Salt. What do you guys think about those blades?

I'm with you on the addictiveness... just picked up my first serious knife ever this week, and i'm already on my second. Bought the Gayle Bradley on Monday, Manix2 sprint run cru-wear on wednesday. i think i have a problem.

Dude, I'm not stopping till I have all the black dlc bladed Spyderco's. That's gonna be a while lol.

The blade is already starting to loosen up on the close. Looks like I'm gonna have to develop a callous on my finger or something lol, that compression lock tab is a bitch to the tip of your finger after a while
