Any update on the warrior knife? Any pictures, or still top-secret?

Anything else new in H1? Last thing I've seen is the black Pacific Salt.

I saw an older thread somewhere that suggested there would be a larger Ed Schempp knife in H1, larger than the Rock Salt, that is. Any truth to this?

Well, I'm still hoping for a Native III in H1 with a yellow handle, but that black Pacific Salt is the latest one I've heard about.

Still top secret. ;)

obviously top secret, only AMK, REKAT, and a couple custom makers have made the design in varying lengths, in carbon and stainless, coated or non, SF commemorative version, neck knife, and a folder.

I am saving my pennies now for the Spyderco Warrior. Can't wait. I missed all the other rounds of them so I am not missing this one. You know Spyderco will do it right.

Awww :(. How about if I beg and grovel? I'm a particularly accomplished groveller :).

Seriously, no answers to any of those questions? Did I hit a grand slam of 'top secret' questions?

Oh, and sign me up too for the 12-14 inch chopper.

I think catamount just got nabbed by the CIA.

We should really find out where he lives and search the building for secret rooms containing the satellite microfilm which details Spyderco's plans for taking all our money over the next twenty years.

And by the way, I'm not actually here...

I've heard nothing about a Spyderco Warrior. What's the scuttlebutt I haven't heard?

It's an H1 knife based to some extent on the Echanis (or Al Mar, etc.) Warrior or Hobbit Warrior, curved blade, sharp on both edges, with the 'inner' curved edge serrated. I think Spyderco showed a prototype at SHOT, but no photos unless you're special forces, or some such. So, it's not just a rumor, but aside from confirmation it'll be H1, there are no specs, release date, none of that.

Sal had a production model on his table at the Eugene show. It's a darn good thing it was made out of H1 because my salivary glands went into overdrive. He said they were in the process of finalizing the sheath and it would be ready to go.

I have a black Al Mar Warrior, a green Hobbit Warrior, the steel Hobbit trainer and am negotiating with a friend for a folding Hobbit (original model) that I sold him several years ago. While the original two were meant to be dedicated reverse grip fighters I would say that this is meant for standard grip use considering the intended use of the serrations.

I didn't take any measurements but I would say that in overall size it is similar to the Hobbit. It has eliminated the wide guard which made the original Hobbit so darn uncomfortable to carry concealed. And it has flatter handle handle scales than the rounder Hobbit handle.

I love this knife and it may very well become an EDC for me.

The one pic I saw looked like it had zytel handles. Did the model you saw have zytel or zytel-like handles? (Hopefully not.)

Sounds interesting and I'd love to see it but I don't really know how well it will be accepted as a practical combat knife.

I managed to google a pic It looks AWESOME! im gunna save for that monster! A.S.A.P.! :D
