  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Had the opportunity to meet Rick Hinderer this weekend.....

Indeed I do. I do photography professionally in the luxury watch industry.

Lucky dude!
I'd offer to be an apprentice, but I don't know where I'd find the time (pun intended). Well, that and I'm unsure if you are Jedi or Sith.:D

Jedi man....JEDI! I already have a Yoda sized sword with my XM-24. :D

Master Yoda is a pimp!

My well worn mouse pad and my EDC XM 3.5 Spanto Flipper that everyone has to be getting tired of seeing.

Nice XM-18...I'm hoping to get a 3" slicer for EDC when the XM-18's come back in stock...hopefully the next couple of weeks?

What, no props for Yoda?

Yep 3.5 Spanto is my EDC, the Slicer grind would be great on the 3" for EDC.

K. 3" Slicer..... and..... flipper? Orange?

BTW, Way cool photo N2K, the knife in Yoda's claws, very cool:thumbup:

Thanks, I am no pro and all I do is grab my phone for pics, but I do put a little effort into most of them before I post.
Yoda is an awesome character and a pimp with a lightsaber.

Flipper--yes, and not just for opening;)
Orange--up to the purchaser. It does look great in real life though. Very good choice of color.

Yes...the Yoda photo was very nice indeed, and I do like those green scales.

My preference would be for black, tan, or brown scales, non-flipper (this point isn't a deal breaker) and in an ideal world, it would have a brushed finished.

Beautiful thing is you can get all those colors (or maybe Ti) and swap them as you please.
Swapping scales is a very cool feature on XMs and many of the fixed bladed Hinderers too.

Agreed! Once one makes their initial Spanto/Slicer, Flipper/Non-Flipper decision...... the rest is a Life Long experience.

High-End Knife that will last several lifetimes and unlike a spouse, the changes YOU make are yours and.... welcome:D

The scales - color, texture, material
The stand-offs - color, material
The clip/spacer - color and material as well as various artistic representations from the Hinderer Site
Lanyard - Yes/No and all kinds of SF "Bling"
SF Bling - Check out the Hinderer Site http://www.rickhindererknives.com/rick-hinderer-store/gear/steel-flame.html

If boredom can cause ones attentions to "drift" thanks to Hinderer - your love can always stay fresh:)
