Hello , I need some help on a recent trade that has gone bad. The trade was for a BM vex for his Spyderco Rescue 93mm blue frn. I had sent out the BM vex last wensday to Hanae4fun, He wanted me to send first since I have no feedback yet, and he has 2 on his profile. So I agreed to send it, It was sent last wensday (June 18th) And as of this Monday June 23rd He said he has not received it And has not sent the Rescue. I was over on KnifeForums and Jason.Lee has the same Rescue FRN for sale, And the exact same pictures as in this forum where he posted the spyderco for trade. as of the 21st on KF he is selling the exact same BM vex PE I had shipped him. Since i discovered this and emailed him, Ive yet to hear anything back. This is the same guy. I still have his address the BM was shipped to. If someone could PLEASE help me out and let me know what I need to do if the problem proceeds, I would greatly appreciate it. Over on KF where he is selling My vex He added that it had a few scruff markings from where he dropped it. Yet these were on the knife when I had it. I was unable to insure the the BM i had sent him, But i do have his address. I hope everything works out, Im fresh in the knife world and dont have too many knives, I cannot afford to lose one. Thank you

So how long has it been since you last had contact via e-mail? Hopefully he will respond to this thread once he sees it, then he can give his side of the story.

I hope he isint selling your knife before he sent you the trade.

Don't know the guy but the sale thread on KF for the Rescue is from last month. Doesn't look like he is trying to sell it there. Hopefully he will get in touch with you soon. Good luck!
 
I last heard from him this past monday, And he said the knife had not showed up. Yet he had it for sale on KF saturday june 21st. (the BM vex I shipped him) I'm positive its the same knife because he added that it had scuff markings, Mine did as well. I'm in the dark on what to do about the situation if he continues to tell me that he never got the knife. Like I said I have his name and address and I'm not sure what to do from there.... Over here he goes by Hanae4fun, on KF he goes by Jason.Lee, And in the emails his name shows up has Peter Park, same as the name for the shipping info he gave me. Any input would be GREATLY appreciated.

Do you mean sat june 21? Thats only two business days for shipping. It seems likely that he wouldnt have recieved the knife by sat.

Give it some time, lets wait until he responds to this thread.
 
It went out wensday, It seems kind of fast for him to have gotten it. But its the same description and the same knife I had sent. PE BM vex with small scuff markings. A little ironic.
 
I am one of the absolute worst about being impatient and suspecting someone is/has screwed me on a deal; makes for very exciting trading don'tchknow. Anyway, the advice to give it a bit more time is usually accurate. I had a kinda rare, "I just got to have it," knife coming to me, insured and tracking, that just disappeared for about a week while in transit. Ultimately it showed up and the deal was all good. So maybe it is just a coincidence that his is described similarly. I hope it works out for you, but do keep all your info, just in case you are right.

That is a possibility, I had sent out another package the same time to the same city, Different person. He had received his already and Hanae said he didn't receive his. Ill wait it out and see what happens. I was just very curious on what to do if something never comes of it. Really appreciate the help guys.
 
Did you send it with Delivery Confirmation? It's only $1 xtra. I have mailed knives USPS Priority Shipping and sometimes the buyers have received them in two days and others 4 to 5 days.
 
We don't know that he made it up. There may have a been a deal and one knife hasn't arrived -- you know, that happens. Sometimes the mail is slow.

But he had been banned and the only way to get back legitimately is to get in touch with us and come to an agreement about it, not by sneaking in under a new username. He did just that yesterday, and posted 22 times in the one day, including evidently trying to clear up this deal.
 
hey guys just so you know i wasnt actually trying to cheat him out of anything. I have just not sent my knife yet cause it didn't arrive yet. Anyway because he complained about this, I sent it ahead trusting the fact that he has really sent it. I sent the Rescue Priority Mail with Confirmation number.

Two days after i sent it i have recieved the BM vex.

So it was just a simple delayed package.

In the end the trade was very sucessful.

I hope i dont get a bad reputation because of this, for i had the right to not send it until i got his package.

I wish he would come online and confirm what i have said.

Again i hope this does not tarnish my reputation.

As stated above, he's been banned, so that's not gonna happen. I wouldn't worry about it.
 
Well again, I dont want this to tarnish my reputation...

maybe...

maybe i should post a picture of the email i have recieved from him that basically says everything is alright and that he is sorry for "freaking out" (that is what he said)

Cause again my reputation is at stake here.
