Hand sizes

Looking at the khukuris that are coming out of BirGorkha it is very obvious that the handles are longer than the ones you would find on older khukuris. Sometimes I think that they are way too long. Is it just me? Do I just have small hands? My hands are 7 1/2" from the bottom of my palm to the tip of my middle finger and about 3 1/2" across. What are the size of your hands?

About 8.5 X 4 or 4.25". That's with freakishly long fingers. I usually buy the biggest gloves I can find too, Cougar, I know what you mean. I find the village models to be way too small for me in most cases. Regular Birghorka models work perfectly though.
