Hand sizes

Looking at the khukuris that are coming out of BirGorkha it is very obvious that the handles are longer than the ones you would find on older khukuris. Sometimes I think that they are way too long. Is it just me? Do I just have small hands? My hands are 7 1/2" from the bottom of my palm to the tip of my middle finger and about 3 1/2" across. What are the size of your hands?

8"x4". The male primates in my family
tend to have long palms and shorter
fingers. We're still becoming accustomed
to our opposing thumbs, but I would put
mine at about average.
 
Gee. You guys all have baseball mitts for hands...

7" X 3"; which may explain why I find the village models so much more comfortable to hold than the BirGorkha products

With my hand wrapped around the ruler, but my palm measures 4 5/16" from the base of my thumb to the bottom of my middle finger.
Big hand, short fingers.

About 8.5 X 4 or 4.25". That's with freakishly long fingers. I usually buy the biggest gloves I can find too, Cougar, I know what you mean. I find the village models to be way too small for me in most cases. Regular Birghorka models work perfectly though.
