I voted for 1) I could be talked into a flavor of brown <thinking a good bourbon or tequila>, and 2) we should consider uniting under a different color, other than red.
It should be noted, though, that I have been firmly in the white/light camp since the start; so I couldn't logically vote that I could be talked into a flavor of white.
 
I'm going to declare the poll flawed, based on my previous post. I might still buy if it's a flavor of brown; but I'm not changing my vote to brown.

The poll assumes that we're all voters in either the Brown or White scale color camp, so fear not- the poll is working just as it was intended.
Of course we cannot account for interlopers, but we'll just have to trust that people will read carefully and be honest. (bold assumption.)

For example, I voted brown in Charlie's Official Poll. Here I voted that I could be either talked into brown or talked into white, because I would be happy with either choice.
the idea is to gage willingness from the white and brown scale choice voters to change their vote when given a choice.
 
The poll should have two choices...
1) I'd consider changing my Brown vote to White to block the Red
2) I'd consider changing my White vote to Brown to block the Red

Then you'd actually see if there was enough traction one way or the other to make a difference.
 
JohnDF JohnDF what about the green, blue, and rotten banana votes? That leaves them out; and, realistically, they should be the first to jump ship

I think my preferred order would be something like:
Blue
White
Brown

But it looks like more people are willing to compromise on brown than on white, so I'm going to suggest that the anti-red coalition should begin throwing its weight into brown.

Let’s go with white and when the color options come up, go with a nice cream color like aged ivory!

Together, we can defeat the red menace…
 
I hate red. My first vote is brown but would be fine with white or literally anything else. I still have a 71 bullnose rotting away in the tube only because it’s red.
 
If sepia is going to be a brown option, it might be a good consolation for us ivory whiters. To beat red id consider a switch. If all people who wanted ivory/white were to vote for sepia there would be a good shot.
I would rather blood red or black cherry over those brown with yellow at the bolster.

But i could really get behind deep brown and white at the bolster.

I'd 100% be on board for Sepia, not I believe there's a bad option in the white/brown bunch.
 
White is just a really pale brown. Red is just a darker shade of pink.

🤣 Charlie... You say "jump" and I'll ask "how high?". We owe you a debit we can't repay, and not just because you work on forum knives.
To whatever end I could be of service, I'd be happy to volunteer to help with the 2022 BF knife, or any project you are working now, hereafter, or in the great beyond.

I just don't think people will like being told they're getting smooth beveled scales... 😅
