Just ONE layer of the scotch brite is all I have. If you go to dense foam then use about 3/4". Thanks for putting that up.

So, it goes: disc, g10, scotchbrite, g10, sandpaper? Or does the sandpaper go right on the scotchbrite?

Money no object? I'd skip the grinder and do an Aaron Gough style cnc mill. :)

you mean like this? :-)

yes I have future plans/thoughts for that...but not just yet. Aaron has paid his dues and makes knives for a living now so I can understand where he wants to go. I'm a hobbiyst still appreciating the artisan craftsmanship portion of knifemaking.

I work in a CNC aersopace machine shop so I can use the machines anytime, but that's not my interest right now.
Also I would not invest in a CNC machine, there is plenty of machining capacity in So Cal with and CNC handles can be purchased for $10
