Hangin' in East. Ontario (pic heavy)

I'm surprised the Dicentra cucullaria is up already - (That's Dutchman's Breeches and yes I had to look up the binomial :o) Doc

Yeah, Doc that slope was south facing and gets lots of sun. Its slope was quite a bit more advanced in terms of flora than the surrounding countryside. You are the only one I figured who would be so familiar with a Dutchman's breeches :D :D :D

Where are you in relation to say, Toronto?

About 3 h drive North east of Toronto, or about 1 h drive south west of Ottawa.

Cool..How do you like the big paw?

Its a great blade. I love it! Possibly the sharpest one I have and I like its wide, extra pointy shape. Kind or reminds me of the Siegle Sar knife except for its handle. On this one, the handle is extra long, at 5.5" and the blade is 4.5". The handle sometimes aesthetically looks too long for the blade, however this is for function. The knife was designed to be used with gloves and at that it excels. I can easily grip this knife with full mitts on and despite the looks of the handle/blade proportions it is super comfy to use. At 5/32" it is tough as nails and Bryan convexes the dickens out of them so they are sharp + tough.
