I went ahead and got me one of them Ray Iles drawknives, I believe 8" blade.

I decided I didn't want to wait for the extra shipping time of ordering from the states, there is work to be done! I should be shavin' away at my handle by this weekend, hopefully it won't turn out to be a complete disaster
