I have participated in a couple of benefit auctions. The "donators" simply posted pictures of their donation in the auction thread. Once the auction had enough goods, the bidding began on the thread. All the donators then shipped their donations directly to the winner. It worked well. Just a suggestion.
Either way, I would like to donate a vintage axe. I'll go through my pieces and pick one out!
seems like a good idea to me. and it would save John the cost of shipping all the items to the purchasers. more for Hanna!
The original idea was the travelling box which would be added to and then sent on to the auctioneer but, wisely, there were issues identifed with that approach. Namely, the last person might be shipping something that was pretty darn heavy and costly!
The modified idea is to have people ship their items directly to John and he will in turn ship out to the auction winner(s). As M3emphis suggested, maybe those who want to participate can just forward photos of the items and then ship direct to the auction winner once John receives the payment? Seems to make sense??????
I think it would be shipping all of the contents in the box to one person? Not individual items to multiple buyers.

Oh...so, is the auction for all of the items in the "box" (i.e. combined)? or, will they be auctioned individually? makes no difference to me...just curious.
John,
I've got a care package I've been meaning to send for both Hannah and Haley, so I'll just open that back up and add a bit to it.
good luck!
Just FYI, this has my full approval. Best of luck man.
