Happy hour. What are you Fiddlebacks listening to?

Oh yeah Duder, I like the way you're thinking today. Just a reminder to everyone to go to Dead.net and download their free 30 days of Dead album. With November being over, I don't know how much longer it will be available. It has some really great stuff on it, including a interesting little "Doin That Rag" from 4/22/69. Here's a "Rag" from a about a month after that. Enjoy!

With "On The Beach" being my favorite album of all time I think this is my favorite live Neil performance. Insanely good version of Motion Pictures at 49:15.

This thread could always use more Neil. Thanks Brendan!

Feelin the blues today. Kept the daughter home from school to ride out this storm (worst one to hit Cali in 5 years). Riding it out with some Stones. Here's two from the Duder's storm riding setlist to all my brothers in California and the Philippines. This storm can't compare to what's going on in the rest of the world, but that big tree that towers over my house sure is swaying...

Duder, I'm glad someone appreciates Neil! I've been into him for a few years now and it's hard to come by anyone who I can relate to lol.

I think Neil's voice may throw a few people and would be fans off. He has a unique style of singing. The guys got heart though. I try to make it to his bridge school benefit every year; You get a lot of special intimate performances at those shows. I've never seen Neil other than unplugged. I think I prefer him unplugged.

Here's one for you hair rockers...

I know this isn't really musically related, but duder, have you watched the new nick offerman special on Netflix, cause it's quite humorous.

Duder, have they classified it as an arkstorm yet? I read an article that it may turn that way. Idk if anyone else has even heard about arkstorms, I haven't until yesterday. Pretty wild stuff

I haven't checked that out yet. I'll give it a gander. Thanks

You know it did get pretty bad in the Bay Area/San Francisco area. Some areas received north of 5" of rain in the last 24 hrs. That's quite a bit. In Sacramento, it wouldn't take much for a storm to turn in to an Ark Storm; our levees are in very bad shape. I don't think we would be able to handle a really bad storm. Most of Sac would be under water, it would be very bad for a lot of people. The state of sacramento would be very reminiscent of the image below. That is an image of old town Sac in 1850. I think the men of that time had a better sense of community then they do now and they worked together to rebuild and overcome. If that were to happen today, and I pray it never does, there would be a lot of desperate criminal activity that would lead to a lot of unnecessary heartache and problems.
