I just want to thank William at Hideaway knives for a smooth transaction.

I got an awesome Coogler cat claw with serrations that rocks. The sheath is top notch. This is my second HAK. My titanium straight has a nasty little brother.

For those that do order, just know that he does not have an automated system that verifies your order. It took a couple of days before my email was replied to, but he did reply and shipped my blade out prompty. Im satisfied :)
Thanks William.

From what I have heard , even though the HAK site indicates collabs with many makers , most ( if not all ) makers list on the collab page are no longer grinding knives for them.

Glad things worked out for you; the HAK is a great concept BUT...

I've been trying to get a refund, or suitable replacement HAK (dollar-wise) to compensate me for the deposit I paid (TWO YEARS AGO!!) on a special run of Talonite HAKs (that never came to fruition). William's responses to my email inquiries have been nonexistent at worst & very rare at best. Since he took over (at least publicly), things may have started to improve, but so far he's been full of empty promises to do right by me.

It's a shame because I still really like the HAK series of knives...always have one in my flight suit.

Sorry about any negative experience you may have had. I purchased the cat claw with serrations because I liked the design. Im not sure if Coogler grinded it or not but im satisfied with the grind, sharpness, and quality of the piece. Its as sharp as the Derespina proto i recently purchased which is pretty sharp to say the least. I dont feel like i got beat and am pleased with the blade thus my feedback in this post :-)

I too heard no one but coogler is grinding for them. I wish you luck with your new purchase, fellow New Jerseyan.

Hi, Labella, salutations from the Garden State! You can find me off exit 152 of the parkway :-)

My Hak is not marked with the usual "FS" but is maked with a "C & C" which I checked on Google and is a Coogler marking. I highly doubt that the marking was forged. The grind is excellent, so I do think my baby was grinded by the Jedi Master Coogler.
