Hello, I am looking for a edc fixed blade that can take a beating, I camp host for 6 weeks and am looking for a knife to do everyday camp tasks. I would like to keep it under or around 60$. Any recommendations?

BPS Adventurer. One of the best bang-for-the-buck knives around....

If you could get your shipping information to me, I would send you a buck knife if you kept it and used it. You can't go wrong with a buck; it will serve you well.View attachment 2607132
Thank you very much for your kind offer, I already have a nice buck for deer hunting, so you should probably give it to somebody else, I sincerely appreciate your offer though.

Thank you guys for all of the recommendations, but I am looking for something a little smaller, mabey something I could just keep in my pocket. I definitely will be writing down some of your guys recommendations for when I purchase some bush crafting gear to go with me on backpacking trips.

You'll be perfectly suited with a Morakniv companion, kansbol, or bushcraft forest in stainless.
I recommend stainless so you don't have to worry about carbon steel maintenance at the camp site, not that it's terribly difficult to manage, however

Best bet here- Go on Ebay and find a small Mora. A Classic #1 is pocketable with a blade under 4".
The 511 is also doable, or if you can find a 611 or 612.
Older Mora knives , #611 from Erik Jonsson, #2 and #1 by Erik Frost, with a Hultafors OK4, which is also an inexpensive choice that will take a beating and come back for more....

I was kinda looking at the condor mini bush lore, but wasn't shure about the scandi grind.
The Lore series knives are not real thick so they cut pretty well. They are real handy though and can do about just about any sort of mundane camp task with no issues.

Sounds like you'll be fine with a folding knife.
And keep an estwing about if you need to chop something
