Hard use fixed blade edc on a budget

Mora eldris, it is handy for quick cuts and some small kitchen use, I also wonder about condor version of the Otzi knife. The OP wants to put in his pocket. He narrowed kit down to the BK 11 or 14 or the Izula. Let us know how it goes.

Off the top of my head, for that price and easy pocket carry, I would recommend ESEE Candiru, ESEE Izula, BK11, BK14, Buck Paklite Hide, Buck Paklite Cape, Brisa Necker (formerly the Enzo Necker). These are all around the price range you want, easy to pocket carry, and knives I own or have owned

Why is nobody mentioning the Gerber strongarm, they even have a new camp model that is less tactical. This knife is proven over time and has the lowest price to bashability ratio on the market.

The new camp model sounds perfect for your needs.

Also my old fave that is king of beaters, very cheap and highly modifiable, the CS, GI Tanto.

Hello, I am looking for a edc fixed blade that can take a beating, I camp host for 6 weeks and am looking for a knife to do everyday camp tasks. I would like to keep it under or around 60$. Any recommendations?
What activities do you expect to perform or demonstrate, and what environment will this camp be in?

While I still don't think of $60 as "budget" for what you're getting (IMO these are $35-40 knives now grossly inflated, with too-short handles and lacking scales), the BK11/BK14 will certainly do all you need to do for EDC:

Do you have a blade size limit? If its for food prep also I'd suggest a good 420 HC fix blade, Gerber and Buck makes some good ones. Or as mentioned earlier Cold Steel SRK.
