Hard use fixed blade edc on a budget

Ascending in price (per the Canadian retailer I searched up), Cold Steel Canadian Belt Knife, Roach Belly, Slock Master, Outdoorsman Lite, SRK, all under $60 CAD. If it had to be one of those for me, I'd want the Outdoorsman.

Becker BK14, Mini Skrama, Jääkäripuuko85, Daabo makes a smallish knife, many here have one, dunno what he calls it.
David Mary has a number of small designs, dunno if any come in under $60. Mora original classic No.1,, a number of small Marttiini and Anza models. BPS Savage.

As previously stated, Cold Steel SRK and Recon Tanto are both great choices. I prefer the Recon Tanto. Just be sure to be ready to re-sharpen them in the field.
Chris at PREPAREDMIND 101 did an impromptu woods test of the Recon Tanto some years ago, and he was blown away how this "combat knife" did in the bush.

Hello, I am looking for a edc fixed blade that can take a beating, I camp host for 6 weeks and am looking for a knife to do everyday camp tasks. I would like to keep it under or around 60$. Any recommendations?
A Cold Steel Leatherneck would be a fine choice and should go for right around 60 bucks. It can take a beating and will serve you well.

Currently, among new knives, my first recommendation in that price range would be a Cold Steel SRK or SRK-C. There are also a large number of similar, inexpensive, high carbon steel outdoors knives in teh same price range that lots of people like. The Condor Terrasaur is one that gets mentioned a lot. Make sure you buy a field-portable sharpening system and learn how to use it. Any knife is only as good as it is sharp.

Thank you guys for all of the recommendations, but I am looking for something a little smaller, mabey something I could just keep in my pocket. I definitely will be writing down some of your guys recommendations for when I purchase some bush crafting gear to go with me on backpacking trips.

Oh. Well, that's different. How big are your pockets? The ESEE Izula or Izula-II (or anything else substantially similar) are great choices for pocketable fixed blades.
