Has anyone here ordered from bladeplay.com? And if so how long did your order take? Cause I ordered a balisong from them and still hhave not got it yet. I ordered it on the 1st of januaray and today is the 20th.
 
WOW.... i would be stressed by that.... i dunno if it was cause of it being a friday i ordered a BM 42 from www.newgraham.com.... its some kind of pharmacy in virginia, they have videos on google, ones about big knives(take6), ka-bars, kukris, stuff like that... the other is about Axis locks (take5)... but yeah.... we ordered it at like 8 or 9 am.. and they started shipping 5pm that night... WOW... it should get here wednesday
 
yeah.. mine was free shipping too... its awesome though... seeing the place im ordering from... its a pharmacy and a knive shop... hes got glass case on the back wall FULL of benchmades and all kinds of other knives... i like the feeling of ordering from him
 
I've bought from another of Bladeplay's sites (bladehq) and not had a problem. I was there in person though so that doesn't help for your situation.

If I ever head over to Utah I might just get their addresse and buy somthing.
but I am afraid that the way my luck is I will get caugt speeding or run a light and the police will search my truck an find the switchblade or balisong that I got.:(
 
i got a reciept with a balisong i bought at a mall that said i just purchased a balisong and that i havent made it home yet... so it maybe you can ask for one of those

It's always locked/closed. You have to knock and hope someone in back hears you or wait for someone to wander near the front. They'll let you in if they know you want to come in.

The front area is small and lined with glass cases packed with knives. BM, Microtech, Kershaw and some cheapo brands as well. Lots of stuff you don't see on the few websites I know of as each site is targeted to different customers and markets. Plenty of manual knives, handcuffs and martial arts stuff as well. I was told they have a few martial arts sites too.

There is an open door to a large stockroom with many brown boxes where the main selling (on-line) and shipping take place.

They're friendly and let you handle pieces. I cut myself in there once so they told me some stories of others who have cut themselves much worse than I did, some fairly seriously.

They threw in a laser pointer to offset the sales tax I paid for making the purchase in-state.
 
that sounds cool, well except for the locked part, sounds like an empty quiet place when your in it, with like a radio playing some music in the back
 
I have ordered from both BladePlay and BladeHQ. Orders were delivered within a week. Maybe you hit a backorder problem where they oversold their inventory due to not having real-time inventory control. The Benchmade 42 seems to be a knife that goes in- and out-of-stock frequenty at every internet site.
 
well, I sent them a email saying what the problem is and he sent an email saying it may have gotten lost in the mail somewhere.So he packed a new one that should be here next friday. I have ordered from BladeHQ before and got my order in bout a week and a half.

Sometimes we forget to lock it. ;)
Good news on this end though- we just got the store next door which we're planning on turning into a much larger retail front. With the extra room we'll be "open" most of the time.

So he packed a new one that should be here next friday

i've never been dissapointed with anything i've gotten from either one of cam's websites. customer service is always outstanding as well.

I have very good experience with bladeplay myself. The service was excellent and the products even better than in the pics ;)
 
I have ordered several times from Blade Headquarters in Lehi, Utah and I live in Georgia. Got the first knife in 5 days and the 2nd one in 3 days. Love that place. Talk to Anna at Blade HQ. She is very nice and professional. Will be ordering more.
