Ok, let's start off by saying these knives are not for sale, so please don't ask.

So it's me, Liu Kang and many of you know me pretty well. I can get some really hard to get Busse knives, so after talking to many people who keeps telling me, the same thing "You only live once, so have the best!" Well, I have a few in my safe but why should I carry anything less then a Busse until they come out with the FOLDER. So I was out to find something that I would be really proud to have. Lots of people know I collect Meaner Streets so I started out with this one:

a leaner meaner with snakeskin, but I just didn't see it... it just wasn't my style for an EDC... so the search went on. So I tried this one:

A Active Duty. It's a great knife so I put that down as a possibility but kept looking around. I thought I'd see what the deal with is with the Game Warden:

This was very sharp but I think a bit smaller then I would like. Maybe a Culti:
or a Mean Street:

or a Meaner with an extra edge:

Something in wood:

or in Mammoth Tooth:

somthing larger:

something thicker like a Porky Parkway:

Something coated:


I'm so confused. What do I do?

We have a Winner! (the smooth bolt meaner with the sharpened swedge)
That thing is nasty, in a good way.
 
I think you should send me that Culti. I know for a fact, it just won't fit you as an EDC. :eek: :D

That Culti and GW are beautiful. Either one would be a fine piece to carry and be proud of.
 
Well Dan it all depends on your personal uses. This first pic would be my self defense knife choice.

This second pic would be a classy do all type knife.

But this one in the third pic just does'nt belong in your edc choices at all. So for my efforts in helping you decide which to pick. Ahh Yeah this one should cover my services nicely and would also help to whittle down your choices. You know because i'm a giver like that. :D You've already got my addy right? ;)

Pretty sure none of those will work as an EDC.

Tell you what, you send them to me, and I will do a in depth test, and let you know which one works best.


Some great ones for sure.
 
My vote would go for the original Mean Street. I have coveted one of those for a loooong time, and I think it might be the best EDC, concealable in bag or pocket.

'Course that's just my two cents' worth! :D

I don't know. I think tundratrader has a good point. If you have tried them all out for yourself, why ask others which EDC to use? If the Cultie isn't the one, then why grab up every single one at KC? In the end I find myself asking the same question Zack did . . . :confused:

Cause we are HOGS, it's what we do... did you really have to ask? Four months ago, how many meaners did you have? You can't use or carry them all, so why did you feel a need to have more then one?

And this is a fun thread, if you don't have any positive to say, you just shouldn't say it. As for my EDC, I have it, I'll post it in a bit. Just relax.
 
You know what, at one point I used to like to post here. Everyone used so show pictures of what nice Busse they got and everyone congratulated them on the score. Now this forum is getting bad, we no longer do that. I thought we needed some new activities here, maybe showing some Busse I was got but already I regret it. What's the point in getting them if you can't show and share with the Busse community. Now it's to the point that I ask myself why I even post pictures....
